I have "scale" issues that have in the past lead to some very unhealthy eating habits. So, even though I'm only two weeks in, I plan to weigh in once a month too. But, my real progress will be measured with a measuring tape and my clothes.

Find a consignment shop! Bring in what doesn't fit and get what does. It will be way less than retail, especially if you're bringing in and not just taking out!

I have not tried it yet, but I'm definitely going to try salt and vinegar baked Kale this week (just google it there are hundreds of recipes). My partner is 6'1 and he's on MFP too. They've set his calories at 1700, so if you're a fair bit shorter than 6'1 it seems reasonable that your calorie count is 1400. Day8 done, still Level 1 and I might just be there for a while. But I haven't skipped. And I'm doing 30-50 minutes of extra cardio every day. So, hopefully that will be enough until I can handle the move up....

I'm in. I'm doing 30 Day Shred every day and have been doing elliptical for another 30-45 minutes a day. I decided to do Zumba Cardio Party after the Shred yesterday. WHEW! Kicked my butt much more than the elliptical. So I will do Zumba 3 X a week , every second or third day, with everyone here.

I'd go with raw carrots, celery, cucumber, and snowpeas with hummus for dipping. I know a lot of other people like sweet potatoes in lieu of white potatoes. They're not my cup of tea, but i think they're lower in carbs.

There's a new wrist HRM for sale at CVS, apparnetly quite reasonably priced and getting rave reviews. I live overseas, but will pick one up when I go to the USA in July. The machine are absolute crap. MFP seems way too high to me as well.

Just completed Day 7 (i started on june 5). The strength is coming just fine...still modifying pushups, but lunges are getting deeper and deeper and i'm getting through all the abs now. The cardio in circuit 2 and 3 is fine. But I am still losing my breath to the point I have to stop and catch it during the last jumping…

GREAT job and thanks so much for posting. I have a very similar body shape to you (except i'm only 5'7" unfortunately). But, it's really inspiring to see what 25 pounds MAY look like on me. Keeps me going to look at these success pics and read people's stories.
