  • Quick Intro Mom of 3 (25, 20 and 13) and 29 years married (🎉 12/31) WL plan: low carb (no bread), higher protein, more water, more steps and no pressure, just follow the plan. I love to cook, have a good laugh and keep up with the kids. Previously, When I lost weight I finally found my rhythm. I would lose daily (ish) for…
  • Thanks for the lovely welcome 🤗 I’m trying to scroll back and read up. @19shmoo69 , those reaper almonds seems frightening and I like spicy. My latest find, was colby cheese with hanero, jalapeño and chipotle in it. @Katmary71 glad you’re feeling better. I can’t wait to see everyones recipes. I need to work on cutting…
  • Hi Everyone! Happy to be here. I can’t wait to get to know you all. *I can’t access groups, not sure if this will affect my participation. I see a note from MFP that it’s not just me. I’m a long time member of MFP. In 2016/2017 I used MFP and lost 70+lbs, low carb, working out and holding on. After having my children, I…
  • Hi! How can I join? I went to the link but posting appears closed. Thanks 😊
  • Energy level is much better. My 6 year doesn't want me to get thinner, she thinks I'll get to her size. Lol flattering but not happening. Shopping is more fun. Exercising isn't miserable. Willpower is getting better with time.
  • Great!! Congrats!! I started in January and am at 45. I'm doing 1200 calories, protein, vegetables and vitamins. Low on the carbs. Low sugar. Trying to do lots of water. Gym 5 days a week.
  • You're not alone. Feel free to add me.

  • Hi! Pcos here too. I have to stick to a low calorie, low carb, low sugar, portion control diet. Exercise is a must daily. It's the only thing that has worked over the years. When I slack off, it shows. It can be done, it just takes some will power. Find active groups to be apart of, it helps.
  • I can't see my new friends diaries. They're blank.
  • I'd love to have some more friends who are interacting with each other often. It truly does help. I'm 20lbs down and looking to keep going. Plateau land now!!
  • My body is hard on me too. I lose nicely for a week and plateau for 3 weeks. Just keep doing. You will feel better. Don't stress the numbers.
  • Hi! I have PCO and am trying a low carb diet. I'm very grouchy without my carbs. Lol ADD ME for support. I'm on the same road.
  • Hi! I'm from US and definitely found moving abroad to be a huge factor in my gaining weight. Plus I had children. But living in aplace that almost every form of entertainment involves food has been rough. Hot climate keeps from going outdoors. So happy to start splitting my time up and going to Turkey where the weather is…
  • Hi I'm Amber. I've been married for 22 years. I'm also turning 40 this year. I have 3 children (18,14 & 6). I have gone up n down over the years since having children. Now that everyone is in school and gives me some "me" time, I need to get back on track. I know that a healthy diet and lots of exercise is a must and that…
  • Tas, Can you add me to the group? I love to cook. I cook a lot of Arabic food, although I'm American :) Well more gulf cuisine, but I'm diverse.

  • I'd like to join please ; )
  • My surgeon did blood test (due for surgery) and found my tsh level high and sent me to the endocrinologist. He said he'd test my T3 and T4 and if they came back normal, I wouldn't need treatment. He also tested my vitamin D level. My T3/4 came back normal but my vitamin D was really low. When I researched it, the symptoms…
  • WTG! You look amazing!
  • INSPIRATIONAL!!!! I can really see the difference. WOW! Keep up with the wonderful work you are doing : )

  • Any smoked barbeque spice (mine are S. African) seasoning salt, cracked black pepper. I remove the skin and cook in a non stick ceramic frying pan. It gives off enough oil. I play around with spices, but anything smoked is nice. I don't turn it until it's crispy brown and cooked a 1/4 of the way up. It ends up looking…

  • Ediets is an online weight loss program. You pay for them to make you diet and exercise program. You get the recipes, shopping list, and the community like on here. Similar to Sparkpeople (name?) although spark is free. I'm not interested in recipes anymore or the set up. I know enough now to plan my own means. MFP helps…
  • MissaTaylor, I know what you mean, it's not so easy. I had a high risk pregnancy (bed rest) and the same with the delivery (turned out natural, against all other dr's recommendations) I know that leads to extra weight gain. Have you changed your exercise routine to help your plateau? Sometimes a free day helps me out of…
