Hello all! My name is Ana and I am from Texas. I have read a lot about 30DS and I am very interested in starting this program. I found a link on YouTube which has Level 1 on there for free. I am a bit on the fence about this work out from the varying reviews I have read about it. I still want to try it to see if it works…

You and I could be twins honey. I started my weight loss journey in 2009 weighing 233 lbs on my 5'2" frame. I signed up for Quick Weightloss Centers and lost about 70 lbs in 2 years. The diet was a severe reduction in calories, supplements and almost daily exercise and journaling. The exercise wasn't necessary according to…

I like your songs! I need to add those to my list. Another MFP member posted a topic and got some good replies. Check it out here (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/497822-favorite-work-out-songs) and see if there is something you like.

In addition to a good idea of adding my dedication to attend weekly Mass, I am giving up being lazy for Lent. Hoping this will be a good way to establish a good habit. I used to be a pretty good exerciser...then I stopped. I am aiming for 4-5 days a week minimum. Going to mix cardio and strength training plus DEDICATION to…

I like this! I think I will add to my "sacrifice" for Lent the dedication to attend weekly Mass. I am giving up being lazy for Lent. Hoping this will be a good way to establish a good habit. I used to be a pretty good exerciser...then I stopped. I am aiming for 4-5 days a week minimum. Going to mix cardio and strength…

I am in the same boat with you ladies. I started back in 2009 (before MFP) at 233 and lost about 70 pounds using Quick Weightloss Centers. Since then I have gone up and down (a low as 168 at one point and as high as 189), but I feel more focused this year. I have set a goal for myself to be at my goal weight by my birthday…

Thank you for sharing your story. Very inspirational and great tips! Congrats on your success. Blessings to you and your children. Do we need to be MFP friends so that I can message you for the exercises? Not that I would mind having an MFP friend like you... :flowerforyou: Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Weight Loss…

This is GREAT advice! It's not easy to lose weight sweetie. The fact that you have made the decision and you DID lose speaks very well of you, your spirit and possibilities. YOU CAN DO THIS. Like the above post suggests, take it one meal or day at a time. Encourage yourself with small moves/goals. As you achieve them,…

Keep your chin up sweetie! Like some of the other replies have stated, water retention (thank you monthly bill - you suck!!) could be the culprit. Some ideas to try: make sure your drinking at least 8 glasses of water so that your body doesn't feel dehydrated and then will HOLD on to whatever water you DO have in your…
