Hello all!! My name is Jayme, I am a 33 stay at home mom of 3 kids, and a full time student. I consider myself to be a runner but have never actually counted my miles. I am happy to help as well!! This is the best place to find support and inspiration! The first thing I did was get rid of all my large dinner plates, my whole family now eats off a salad size plate. It's the little things that will get you where you want to be. Add me if you would like more support! ;)

Going to run my first half this spring...I have said this for the last 2 years...this is going to be the year I actually DO IT!!

Slow to start. Alot of people who want to run try to do to much in the beginning. A slow pace in the beginning for short amounts of time will give you the muscle foundation that you need to increase both your speed and time. Good shoes are also a must. Good Luck!!

Go to your closest and find a pair of pants from the beginning of journey, try them on and then look at yourself in the mirror. This always helps me put things into perspective.

This ^^^^ is so true!! Went to Vegas, had no control of my food, I was so hungry the entire trip!! Came home got back into my kitchen and hunger pains are gone :)

Agree with other posters, but I am a treadmill girl. I like that I can control the speed, distance and incline. I agree that it is a lot different than running outside. I try to get outside at least once a week, but the weather here is wet and rainy all the time!! I hate to be cold! Anyway, I am interested in what others…

I agree with the rest of the posters. I lost 120lbs with WW a few years ago, then they switched to the PP and I hated it. Plus the all the money I was spending just to stand on the scale week after week and not see any movement. I do miss my WW pals but I keep up with them on FB. I love MFP, the support here may not be in…

Coffee creamer is a downfall for me. Especially now that the holidays are getting close, the egg nog creamer is back!! This is one area I refuse to give up! I do many, many things right I want to enjoy my morning coffee ;) (I don't measure, I enjoy the taste)
