I think my husband and friends have a hard time with the "new" me. I was all about pleasing them first. Now. I take the time to do me first. I say what is on my mind. I workout. then I "hang out". I just ran my 2nd 5k!!! You can do it!! Relax. bring music and a sweat band. You'll do great. I was a mess my first time. RELAX!!!! You can do it. Then you'll want to do another one!!!! :bigsmile:

I ran a 5k today too...only my 2nd one ever.I came in at 3.18. My first one was 36.28...Your time was great and will only get better.I can't wait till I can run faster!!! Today was a great day to run. Congrats.

I went to a running store and that is what they told me would work...got home and read a ton of mixed reviews about them...now I'm feeling I should of got the other pair they recommended... I liked them both. I have a hard time with shoes...small feet,high arches, and narrow heels. Just wanted to know what other runners…

I still have 23 pounds to go...and people keep telling me I'll be to skinny. I just say thanks and keep going. I know where I want to be and what it's going to take to get there. People are being nice but I know the truth...LOL

To be the best mom you can be...working out is something you need to do. You will feel so much better about yourself. Start now..my babies are 11 and 7. I let my self go, I was so into being a mom...I forgot to be me. Your husband to be will love you no matter what size you are..but you will love yourself so much more…

WOW!! Awesome. i'm running my second 5k this Sunday. I can't get over the fact that I can run 3 miles without stopping!! 6.2 miles is awesome...I would love any tips. I want to run a 10k by next summer. loved reading this...keep it up!! have a beer for me!!:drinker:
