Hi, I'm logan and I'm looking to lose around 40 pounds. I was bullied for my weight in school (which was ridiculous, I was skinny back then!) and I struggle with self esteem issues now because of my weight. I just moved to a new state and don't know anyone here. I lost 40 pounds on here before, got lazy, and gained it…

Hi all! I'm a 26 mom of 1 that recently transplanted to sc. I lost 40 pounds on mfp before, and gained it all back. So I'm here again to drop the weight once more, this time for good! I want to lose 35 pounds, but my ultimate dream would be a little closer to 50 (which would be about my high school weight!) So if any of…

This.. I am definitely this kind of nerd. I also have realized that I didn't really elaborate on anything about myself on my introduction. I'm a whovian, who lays claim to lots of other fandoms (Sherlock, HP, LOTR, Game of Thrones, The Avengers, Firefly...) I cosplayed for the first time last year (at my first con!) I'm a…

I'd love to be able to use Doctor Who as inspiration and run from the daleks. Unfortunately I'd be exterminated at this point x

For everyone responding like a ****, you're missing my point and you're the problem with sites like this. I'm a fat slob, so let's pause while I bow to your superior meathead physiques. Now that we can check our egos and get real, I'm simply saying I get bored easily and don't care for jogging on a treadmill and staring at…

ummmmm.....thanks. gotta love a troll who doesnt bother reading a thread, just spams it.

I'm only 23, but I'm old and boring already haha. My husband and I have fun playing football (when the weather is nice!), renting dvds from Redbox, and loading our toddler up and strolling the mall for a couple hours. We typically don't have money to truly shop, but it's fun to go browse the stores. My husbands job usually…

I'm gray, but I submitted my weigh in...???
 -
I measure my progress by the number on the scale and the way my clothes fit. The scale shows a lot (I've seen 30+ pounds melt away!) but a lot of the smaller changes aren't reflected in a number. That's why it's so important to go by inches and clothes too. They tell us so much! I threw out all my skinny clothes in…

Wed QOTD: Meh, yes and no. When I was growing up, I looked at celebrities (at the time it was Britney Spears, Spice Girls, etc haha) and thought THAT is how I should look! I was a pudgy girl who was just one more sucker who looked up to celebs as physical role models. So I'm sure that my brain has been trained to aspire to…

YES! I think mini-goals are important because the big picture can be overwhelming. I set off to lose 45 pounds, but set mini-goals every 15 pounds. I can deal with 15 at a time. My mini-goals are: 160 pounds (-15) ~ new nose hoop --->done! 145 pounds (-30) ~ haircut --->done! 130 pounds (-45) ~ new clothes

Okay, I'll fess up....I've tried taking a laxative to boost my weight loss and all it did was leave me on the toilet with horrible cramps for like 3 days straight. Blerg. I will only use them now if they are...ahem....needed. The cramps just ain't worth it! I've tried the Slimfast thing after my daughter was born, but I…

I got dizzy spells when I wasn't taking in enough calories. If you have a dr appt coming up, be sure to talk about it. Make sure the calories you are eating are sufficient for your body. Hopefully it passes soon!

I think intelligence is one of the ultimate forms of self improvement. I remember my mom telling me when I was younger that nobody can ever take away your education. These days, I love to foster that intellectual self improvement with reading as much as I can. Eventually, I want to work out my situation with the college so…

You have to pretty much eat that many calories everyday, with very little leeway. Now I can say that I looked earlier this week, and my current weight was within a few ounces of the 5 weeks prior blurb. It's like everything else...take it with a grain of salt. It may or may not work for you.

Totally a legitimate thing, and you'll find more women are in that boat with you than you think. I have been one for years. In high school I was 125 pounds and a size 4. I was constantly called fat, b*tch, sl*t...I was in an abusive relationship that wrecked my self image and confidence. I coped with food. So as my self…

I've always been an emotional eater, so it takes some effort to keep stress from derailing me. Honestly, i just climb in bed and watch tv or sleep when im stressed. Well, once the baby goes to bed lol. My bed is so cozy, i now have a literal comfort blanket
