Totally agree!! I started Day one of Week 9 today (yay!!) and I had to go into it with this attitude. I've done C25k a couple of times before and did more than I was supposed to and then burned out. It doesn't just physically condition you to run, it also MENTALLY gets you to where you need to be. Its definitely a process.

well, maybe TMI, but when my husband and were "together" recently he told me how amazing I was looking. Like he was sleeping with a totally different woman. He's always been good about making me feel good about myself though. Even at my biggest weight.

I think its good for when you have a specific question that you can't find the answer to online anywhere. Of course you'll get a myriad of opinions, but it can get you on the right track.

I think some other people add 300 calories to their daily goal at the end of their 2nd Trimester and the same goes for breastfeeding. You took measurements initially with P90X right? Just retake your measurements and that will show you if you've had a real gain. If not, don't worry about the scale!

Remember, the scale doesn't just reflect fat gained or lost. If you haven't had a bowel movement that can affect the numbers. MFP estimates your BMR based on your height weight age etc. But the body bugg and bodymedia fit armbands have that same information, plus if you wear it night and day, actually knows how much you are expending in a day. Did you do 30ds exclusively or were you doing other exercises? I ask because I had started 30ds while I was already doing C25k and I found it was just too much for me. I thought I'd start 30ds when I finished the other. You have great results!

Thanks everyone for your input! And besides the one slightly uncomfortable dialogue, you all were great! I think I'm going to start eating all my exercise calories and increase my resistance training as well. Then, I'll see what happens! This is for the long term after all.

MFP's estimates for exercise are way off for me. When I do elliptical it overestimates by 150-200 calories, when I'm running it UNDERestimates by about 150 calories. So, I just don't use it.

5' 6", 193 16 ish. I am apple size, so some pants fit great in the but and thighs but can't button them. Some fit around the belly, but are baggy in my but and legs! Oh how I wish I were pear shaped!
