I can totally relate. As someone who has gotten to goal weight twice and gained it back, being "big" again and feeling like it is an uphill battle to get back down again is so demotivating. I have been back on MFP for two months and the scale basically bounces back and forth between the same numbers week after week. The…

165g (30% of my intake) standard but a little more or a little less depending what physical activity I do that day.

I used to be crazed over diet soda until I realized how bad it was for me. In summer 2011 I decided to just stop (this also included any foods with aspartame). It was tough but each day I kept going it got a little easier. I stocked my fridge with water and unsweetened tea, I set myself up for success and haven't looked…

It sounds like you're over thinking the process - would you drink a shake before bed if you weren't hungry? Sounds like wasted calories to me but we all have different calories goals too. I personally have 1 protein shake a day and typically place it within 30 minutes after my workout. There is no way I could drink a shake…

A banana isn't the reason I am overweight, that's all I gotta say on this topic.

I am 26 years old here and have one fur baby (dog) - feel free to add me!

I don't eat my calories burned but my daily target calories is higher than what MFP gave me since I am using IIFYM calculator numbers.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I am also looking for buddies who follow IIFYM principles and buddies who are runners as I am training for my first marathon :-)

Add friends on here!! I used to use other fitness trackers but got unmotivated after a period of time. Having the accountability of MFP buddies really keeps me going strong. I actually look forward to logging on :-) Feel free to add me :-) We are close in age and with similar goals.

Feel free to add me people. I am in my mid-twenties and looking to get back to goal weight (done it twice before, third times a charm right!) I am currently training for my first marathon as well, so running friends are definitely welcome. I restarted my journey on May 17, 2014. Keep that log-on streak going!

Anyone on here - feel free to add me. Love friends with similar goals (I'm looking to lose 70-80 pounds) to motivate one another!

I have a Polar Loop, love it :-) wearable trackers FTW!

If you want to add mileage - look into doing run/walk intervals. Many great websites out there with good information. I have been run/walking since December 2006 and with that approach have covered everything from 5ks to half marathons to now training for my first marathon. My mile pace is actually faster than if I just…

Exactly. Take is from a girl who has never worn a bikini. I was obese as a child/teen/young adult and continue to work towards health as an adult. I kept thinking (and sometimes still do) get caught up in "Gosh, I must be missing out on some awesome club because I am not wearing a bikini". Um no, I am not missing out. I am…

Hi everyone! I'm Kathy. I am 26 years old from Northern VA and currently on a weight loss re-start. I have gotten to goal weight before (actually twice) but like many of us, sometimes regains happen. So I am here looking for others to buddy up with with similar goals as mine. My weight goal is get to a healthy weight which…

I will definitely weigh solid items, like cheese....and measure liquid items, like milk.
