I think your instincts are correct. I think your metabolism is jacked up and the fire needs fuel. Great success so far!

My kids recently got one and I tried it (with a HRM on). Although the cardio isn't as good as a trip to the gym (for me), I worked up a sweat. More to the point, I lift weights regularly and my arms were SORE the next couple of days after doing the boxing and karate on Wii Fit. I say go for it!

I agree that you can use the calorie estimate provided by Wii Fit, but this is still pretty much guesswork. Better than nothing I suppose. I have a heart rate monitor and tried using the Wii Fit for the first time recently and I want to say I was burning maybe 5 calories a minute on average. A good cardio workout at the…

Great job! That's a real inspiration to me!

Welcome to MFP!!!

I'm actually surprised they still consider you a candidate for surgery since you have shown success without it.

French toast would be filling but not horrible if you don't go nuts with syrup. If you are craving salty, I would agree with turkey sausage or bacon. If you are carving carbs, there are decent options that can be baked instead of fried.

I believe this is the answer others will give you, and if they do, I have another question... what do you consider to be the "end" of the workout? I would think it would be when your heart rate returns to your resting heart rate, or something close. For me this could be awhile after I have stopped actually exerting myself.

Hello ladies! Miss me? Trust me when I tell you I have been staying away out of respect. Just curious how everyone is doing, not just with the drinking thing, but you know - the weight loss thing?
-
Ditto. Very interesting!

If you go to Food, then Settings, you can change your settings to track additional values. That would include things like sodium. Unfortunately, you can only track up to 5. Most people on here will tell you yes, you should eat your exercise calories. Personally, I may eat some of them but not all. To some extent this is…

I am a HUGE fan of both Flatout and Laughing Cow products. To the person who can't seem to find Flatout, they have a website where you can search for retailers by location/zip code.

As opposed to, say, the right amount of sluttiness? lol
-
Awesome! But those garters and fishnets don't look flame retardant!
-
Exactly. Though I actually do like mushrooms.

Can I get an "AMEN"?!!

A lof of their menu has been entered into the MFP food database so you can probably browse that. They do have several salads to choose from.
-
Welcome and glad you are getting into using more of the site. It will help keep you motivated.

Been there, done that, read the book (working on writing my own ha ha). Heck, since coming back to MFP in April I am now (this week) trying to rally myself back after taking a two week break. Good luck staying with the program!

Hello again Lushes! I see everyone has been busy in my absence and we have a few new faces. My lushiness is not quite over - I have a fantasy football draft tonight after work - but I see an end soon so I hope to get back into the swing with you. So great to see the core group keeping each other motivated and new faces…

I think there are several ways to prepare wings in a "healthy" way but I haven't tried them. Looking forward to seeing the responses to this.

I am cognizant that tomorrow is September 1st. I am also cognizant that I have been all but MIA from this thread and MFP in general for the last couple weeks and haven't even been trying to abstain. So, I no longer feel like the Lushes thread is mine. So.... Pam, Kim, Yvonne, Robin.... I'm leaving the Lushes "kingdom" to…

Pass. I'll live in denial thanks!

Miss me? My friend who was visiting me this weekend just sent me this link. I think I added 20 years to my life just this past weekend. http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/08599201433200

Dear Lushes: I am sorry I have ignored you. I have been busy being a lush, not even trying to cut back. My weight has remained the same since I am still exercising and eating decently, but that all ends tonight when my old college roommate's plane lands and we spend the weekend getting hammered and eating like crap. If I…

I used to drink ten beers at a time. In high school. You know, before I had a tolerance.

Well, I actually looked at compared to several different brands of fat free sour cream, they are close in terms of calories but greek yogurt has a little more than double the protein.
-
Well, I am on a total bender, not even logging my calories (what's the point), but am exercising daily, watching what I eat, and still losing weight. I suspect I will wake up from this fantasyland any minute here.
-
I have and agree it tastes good. What I really don't know (haven't done the comparison) is how much of a benefit if any there is to going to non-fat Greek yogurt route instead of just going with non-fat sour cream?
