I think that it totally makes you look better. At my lowest I was down to snug size 8, mostly size 10 at 175. I fell of the wagon and put about 20 pounds back on. When I started working out, I did weights. I am now down to a comfy size 8 and am only at 184. I'm sorry but anything that gives me a butt, waist, and smaller…

I love the meat in Jell-O and Twinkies. Some ammunition next time someone tries to convince me to become a vegitarian.

A majority of ppl on this site have good intentions but get severely distracted by all the crap out there. This should be required reading for all. My go to explination I share about weight loss is that it's not easy, but it's simple. *edited to fix one of the horrid grammar mistakes lol

Mostly, it's aerobic cardio work. You can push yourself into an anaerobic state if instead of doing distance, you sprint. Do balls to the wall for 250-500m then rest for a few seconds, and repeat for about 10-15 minutes. It'll give you a little more calorie burn and maybe some afterburn as well. Or combine a row with some…

Yeah there's a lot out there. I usually estimate about 300 cals/slice if it's plain or 1 veggie topping, and a hearty slice with meat or multiple toppings about 500 calories. Now, if i splurge for the penne, buffalo chicken, insane slice...probably around 700. To be honest, pizza only happens around 3am after drinking for…

I love leg day. My legs are way stronger than my upper body so my energy level is def way up during those workouts. Plus, I've always carried my weight in my butt and thighs. I hated my thunder thighs for years. Now, they are big AND strong. I've redefined thunder thighs as a term of endearment now. Love them...

Don't be scared of the gym. They are usually more scared of you than you are of them :flowerforyou:

Ronda Rousey is my new goal body type! What a badass chick she is! And she looks sick in a dress...

Skip it. You're sick and probably couldn't judge your intake correctly. Plus any gain or loss in weight a day or two afterwards can probably be atributed to imbalances in your body. Don't bother.

I'm 5'7", starting weight was 278lbs (that's the highest I've seen on this thread so far :grumble: ) but I'm currently at 185. Realistic goal is 170, ideal goal is 160. Feel free to add me ladies :flowerforyou:

I'm 5'6"-5'7" with a big build. I started at 278 and am down to 185 now, which was my "realistic goal". As I got below 200, I set an ideal goal for 165. I have a big hips/thighs, and broad shoulders. I honestly wanted to be a size 8, which I reached when I was at my lowest of 179 (so close to being back there!!!). I am…

"TOPIC: Red, White, Beer, or Liquor?" My answer is Yes, to all. Beer can be the worst for me since I drink real beer (no light pee water) and can drink it all day. Like this past sunday, in a 3 hour hockey game, I drank 96 ounces of it....that's more calories than I eat most days. For this reason, I try to avoid it. In…

Breakfast used to recommended a big/filling meal usually consisting of grains and wheat, which translates to carbohydrates. Also, breakfast cereals/pop tarts/donuts/scones etc that people were eating became less whole grain/wheat centered and more sugary, processed, and fatty. Many recently have said stop eating breakfast…

Your list is good. I had all 4 removed and was eating solid food the next day. Honestly, it balances out because you may eat a little less since you're mouth is sore, and you're body will use more calories to heal anyways. Don't worry about needing to stay healthy, just recover. Also depending on what meds they give you,…

I think you are misinterpreting the article. Yes many have gained weight, but weight is not the only indicator of health. Many seem to have put on a lot of lean muscle, and are competing in very difficult athletic events. I only really saw a handful that appeared to be back out of the normal-healthy range. Btw, anyone else…

Excessively low sodium can cause an overall electrolyte imbalance in your body. At first you can get dizzy, faint, or headaches. Prolonging this, can lead to brain disorders/seizures, renal dysfunction, or cardiac abnormalities. PS. Sodium abnormalities can also occur with water intoxication. So if you drink lots and lots…
