There is an awesome podcast by Ullrey , I think that is his name. Search C25K. He talks you through it with music. You don't have to count or time, just listen to him. I really want to do it but last time I tried my knees hurt a lot. Maybe after I loose a little more?

I think it is Ullrey.. Or close to it. It is music with him telling you when to speed up, slow down etc. I liked it because I didn't have to think or keep track. Just had to listen.

I also will make extra dinner so that I can take that for lunch the next day. I don't do we'll with just salads, I need protein to fill me up. When I make soup I will make a huge batch and freeze leftovers in single serving sizes. Then it is a quick and easy lunch.

I pack breakfast, lunch and 2snacks for work. 2snacks because I need 1in the morning and 1in the afternoon to get me through my workout when I leave work. We love this one but I apologize that I never measure when I cook. Cook chicken breasts in chicken broth with dill, onion, carrots and celery. Shred chicken and put back into broth. I'm not an expert by any means but living on 500-900 calories isn't sustainable, practical or healthy. I can tell you what works for me. I don't get caught up in "good" or "bad" foods. I have a Pandora type bracelet that my husband buys me a new charm for every 10 pounds I lose. It is a good visual for me. For every 15 I can go buy a new purse without him grumbling lol The charms are the only ones I have cashed in on though.
