Thank you Diane. That is definitely why I'm here. I want to be able to help as many people as I possibly can because I've "been there" and it's not a fun place to be. I just want everyone to be able to feel their best and live their best life possible. Very happy to be able to help.

Thanks for sharing, ladies! I'll have to check them out!

I just realized I never responded to my own post lol. I'm currently finishing up my last 2 days of TurboJam. I usually throw in a TurboFire HIIT once or twice a week for good measure lol. Next Monday I'll start TurboFire full time. I'm very excited about starting it. I, too, love the weights. TJ has a couple of good toning…

Way to go! I'm just now getting into my old size 24's but not too bad since I started in tight 30's! Thanks for the add! I'm Jennifer, BTW!

PCOS as a diagnosis can be scary. PCOS as a condition, eh, not so much. It's something that's fairly commonly diagnosed now. When my sister and I were diagnosed years ago, it wasn't very well known. Yes, it can cause weight issues, hormonal imbalance, "womanly" issues and at times infertility (along with the other not so…

No room for disappointment! Learn from your mistakes and you'll know better next time. If you need help, support, motivation and/or accountability...this is definitely the place to be! Feel free to add me and I'll do everything I can to help! :-)

It really depends on the workout. For Turbojam, I use hand weights, a couple of bands and weighted gloves. The weighted gloves came with the program. TurboFire came with bands. Different workouts use different types of equipment.

The Turbo's are a lot of kickboxing style moves. Les Mills is coming out with the Combat program this fall.

Chalene is definitely amazing. I'm finishing TurboJam next week and starting TurboFire on the 7th. So excited! I'm already down 40lbs and can't wait to see how TurboFire works for me! TurboJam, BBL, Power90 are considered more beginner programs. P90X, P90X2, Insanity, Asylum and TurboFire are more advanced. It really kind…

Very interested in the answers to this!! I have YET to find one that works well. usually end up with a sports bra over a regular bra.
-
I'm finishing up Turbojam in 17 days, then starting TurboFire, then possibly thinking Insanity. Not sure yet though. Guess I have a little time to decide lol.
-
Always up for more MFP's!! I'm currently on my last 3 weeks of TurboJam then on to TurboFire. Everyone's welcome to add me!

I didn't like the Superfood Formula at first, either. But, through some recommendations, I've found that it tastes just as good as the original Chocolate if it's blended with a little honey and some natural PB. Others have also recommended a little nutella, adding cocoa powder and honey or adding natural PB and 1/2 a…

I started out at 341lbs 67 days ago. I'm down to 304. I used to keep that very guarded but now that I'm down 37lbs, I don't care who knows! I'm on my way down and NEVER going back! If they don't like who I am or who I used to be, well tough.

Sounds like you all have figured it out! :-) I don't always want to eat anything first thing in the morning but I know it'll help me in the long run so I do it. Since I've started this journey (66 days into it right now), I've been eating 5-6 small meals per day. This means, breakfast, lunch and dinner and 2-3 snacks.…

Thank you, Christy! I've struggled with food for sooooo long. I used to literally eat until I made myself nauseous then I'd eat some more. I've always had very strong cravings and with the hormone imbalances...whoa! Overeating is not always a conscious decision and it can tear you down more than other's realize.…

Girl, with THAT attitude, you could do this even WITHOUT the gastric bypass! Every one of the people that I know that have had the bypass have either had problems with it or have gained all or more of the weight back. I hope it works for you though! So glad to meet you!

Don't forget to introduce yourself everyone! It'll be so great to get to know everyone!

A lot of times when I make meatballs/meatloaf/stuffed peppers, anything with ground meat (i use turkey mainly), I use my food processor to process squash, carrots, peppers or whatever else you have in your crisper, and I mix them into the meat. It keeps it from being dry and you can't even taste the veggies. My husband…

I've been eating clean and exercising for 59 days and I'm down 34lbs and 25 inches. I've NEVER been able to lose that much weight because of my PCOS! Keeping out all the chemicals, added sugars, added salts...etc has done wonders for me and between the healthy diet, exercise and weight loss, I'm feeling better than ever,…

At one point in my life, my PCOS would cause me to go 6-9 months without one then 3-5 months straight of having one. In your case, it could very well be the weight loss but it's best to get checked to make sure there isn't an underlying medical issue.

SAHM here of 1 daughter, almost 2, with medical issues. Everyone is welcome to add me, if they wish!

When I start getting cravings I reach for my chocolate meal replacement shake blended with natural or powdered peanut butter, fruit or my homemade honey nut granola (made with sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, raisins and honey).
