Welcome, I'm new to the group as well. Happy Birthday!

Karen: Thankyou. C25K was how I started running as well. Lisa: This group is just what I've been looking for. I need more support from people in my age group. All the groups I found previously were 30's. Brewman: That sounds awesome! Good job! Thanks for the welcome!

Just checking in! Been out walking and playing with the kids everyday. Walked to and from work everyday. Still jogging every other day. If only I could get my eating under control. Oh and I'm sure that all my wine isn't helping my waist line at all. It's our long weekend coming up. (Victoria DAy) Looking forward to some…

Beautiful week here! Hoping to walk to work everyday, continuing with my jogging, can't wait to get out in the garden some more! Happy belated mother's day to everyone! Tron: Turbo Jam looks like a good video, I may have to check it out. How are you liking it?

Been doing great with my jogging, then on Monday I pulled a muscle in my quads while pretending to be frogs with the kids at work. Ow! Taking it easy yesterday, would love to get out and run later today, we'll see.

Lots of outdoor fun for me today! Finally got some nice hot weather here in Canada!!! Yay!!! Walked to and from work today (only 15 minutes each way but every little bit helps.) Took my preschool class to the park for the morning, lots of good running fun there! Then did my running program (currently W4R7W2R7) It was…

I've started a running clinic on saturday mornings at my local new balance store. It basically follows the same idea as couch to 5k but I find that running with other people is so much more enjoyable than running by myself.

sderedki: Congrats on running the marathon and that awesome bike ride too! Amazing! My goals seem much lower than most of the people on this board. I'll be happy if I can run a 5k summer! Well...here's to another day everyone! :drinker: Cheers!

Hi everyone! I'm Jen. I'm a mother of 2 children. My son has numerous anaphylactic allergies(peanut, egg, sesame and chickpea) which makes eating healthy somewhat difficult. And confession, I'm not quite 40 but I will be in July, I hope you don't mind me jumping aboard.? I've been a member of MFP for a couple of years now…

I would like to give this a try. Thanks for posting. I'd like to try switching the egg for applesauce though (due to allergy). Looks good.

I did the program last year. My routine was to do c25k on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Hardwork and dedication got me through the program and I'm now still jogging 5k every other day. It really does help to get the weight off. At least for me. Perhaps, doing both c25k and 30ds is too much all at once??

Okay... THis week I'm weighing in at 138 pounds. I expect that to drop next week as today was the absolutely worst day of the month for me to weigh in!!! I should have no problem with the distance for this week. (I walk to work every day (when not raining) and walk on my lunch break every day too. The jumping jacks, will…

Hope no one minds me jumping on board here!! I'll weigh in tomorrow with you and jump into the challenges then. It'll be nice for me to try something new once in while and shake it up. I'm sooo stuck on routine. Sooo... looking forward the challenges?!?!?!
