42 yo, with a few more pounds to lose. I log daily and interact regularly. Please, feel free to add me (anyone reading as well). Always looking for like minded folks to work to stay on track with!

I'm ready to transition to maintenance as well. A little concerned about the process. I don't want to go backwards anymore! Looking for all the support I can get and share what I learn on the way. Please add me!

I too struggle with PCOS. I've struggled with weight all my life and was morbidly obese until about 8 years ago. Currently, I'm at the high end of normal BMI and could lose few more pounds but will be happy to just maintain current weight. I feel that could be a struggle itself. Anyone struggling with PCOS and weight loss,…

I'm going to work toward 60 miles again in November and adding in one non running workout a week. Elliptical, yoga, biking, whatever. @Calvin2008Brian; @Marissaxzxzxz - looks like we're similar in goals We've got this! Good luck everyone on your personal goals! :)

Congrats to everyone who worked toward and/or met their challenge for October. Lets get ready to rock in November friends!

Came down to crunch time, finished my final 3 this morning! Making runs happen more often increased my speed and my endurance. Thank you October challenge friends! @greenolivetree I bet you killed it!

I'm 5'9", scale this morning was 165.7. I'm an office worker eating 1200 calories a day. Cardio about 5 hours a week. Take some walks at work but not consistently. I typically eat back about half of my cardio calories and if I don't go crazy on the weekends (I'm terrible at staying on track on the weekend) I easily lose 1…

In my teen years, I struggled a bit with an eating disorder and I've always struggled with body image. I'm old now, but please feel free to add me if you'd like.

I took a few days of vacation with my daughter so missed about 5 days of running this month. I didn't realize how far behind that would put me, but I'm determined to reach my goal! 60 wasn't a lofty goal, completely manageable, even for my slow pace and low endurance. It's time to step it up!

This will be my first running challenge. I'm in for 60! Thanks all! I need the motivation to step it up!

I'm in! I need to lose 12 pounds (maybe 17?) by the end of the year. Everyone please feel free to add me. Seeing your successes keeps me moving forward!

I've had a similar path...add me!

I've been where you are now. I lost 100+ pounds by eating less and moving more. When you have that much weight to lose, that's really all you have to do. Break down your long-term goal into smaller, more manageable goals. Celebrate reaching these goals (without food of course). Some days/weeks are harder than others,…

You're doing great!

I've not actually moved forward with it, but I have a friend who is a certified in some sort of holistic health and healing and she greatly promotes this idea! Do it! I'm looking forward to hearing about your success.

The human body was built to adjust to whatever conditions it faces and that can be tricky with the calories sometimes. Start with what MFP suggests and adjust as you go along. From my experience, the more weight you lose the harder it gets in every way. Along the way you're going to have to change up workouts, change what…

It sounds like you might have answered your own question through your post. I've used DVDs, Netflix or just used exercises from magazines to create an upperbody workout, etc. WIth all the things you already have at home, it sounds like you're good to go with dropping the membership. Also, if you love zumba and don't want…

I have struggled with weight my entire life. In 2007 I was 288 pounds and age 33, so completely know where you're coming from. I got down to 165 pounds by walking, being active every chance I had and being very aware of every crumb of food that went into my mouth. It took about 16 months. I stayed there for a summer, then…

It could be the kind of carbs or overall calorie intake. I don't know if this carb heavy day made you go over calories as well, but I know that when I eat like crap, I feel like crap. Period, whether working out or not.
