Hey, Lyndi, I have those same shoes! I love my Brooks! And our name is pretty sim. too.

I would think that any effort a person puts into bettering themselves is a very sexy thing. The fact that a man cares enough to watch what he eats and goes to the gym to workout are very attractive to me. I love my husband for a million reasons, but he could care less about how he looks. He seems to be oblivious about his…

Welcome! I love mfp. Feel free to add me, too. I am looking for more friends for the journey, too! God bless!

I think the twinkies are way more cute than the bacon. The bacon just looks like a fat pig! These days I juz crush on my hubby:-)

I have always been small (120 to 133 at my heaviest). I went up to 155 when pregnant, but lost it right away almost before leaving the hospital! My breasts were slow to grow in high school as I was a "late bloomer." But boy did they make up for lost time! I quickly became a D cup, and for me it was too much! My breasts…

I have a Garmin Forerunner 405 with GPS. I also have the cadence sensor on my bike. I would think that by measuring the actual times you are pedaling per minute, the distance, and your heartrate you could get a pretty acurate read. Are you using a cadence sensor, too?

Thanks for all the posts, guys. I guess there are more guys that log their food than I thought! Letting someone into your world enough to see what you eat can be a very personal thing to some people. It requires a level of transparency that some may be uncomfortable with. No matter what our food choices are we all have…

My thoughts exactly, and hooray for those of you who have too many friends to be concerned about their logging.

I am a Georgia peach!

I understand. I have bursitis in both knees right now because I overdid it running and biking. I am also bummed since I can barely walk, and I am in a lot of pain. I am not used to being such an invalid. I was able to do some Pilates one day which really felt good. It all depends of the pain level. Don't hurt yourself more…

Wow! If I drank as much water as some of you I would not have room to eat anything, and I would get nothing done for going to the bathroom!

Twitchy, too!

I am looking:-)

I researched online and ordered a "Bullet" blender. Then I went into Fred's Dollar Store and saw something for half the price. It is called the "Elite." I have had it for months and use it quite often. I cancelled the order on Amazon for the "Bullet."

I, too, think it is genetic. I also think it can be achieved (the gap) with weight loss depending on your height and body build. Either way I would strive to be healthy and toned. We all have parts of our body we have to tolerate. I have always had long legs so that has not been my issue. I have often wished my mid-section…

Eating helps fuel your metabolism which in turn helps you burn calories. Yes, you should eat the calories you have burned to keep your metabolism at an optimal level. Otherwise, your body will shut down and go into starvation mode.

I am 5'6" and weigh about 121 currently. I wear a size 5 in Juniors jeans and a size 4 is too large in women's clothing, but can't find a 2 at Belk for capris (sp?). I agree with most other posts... size varies widely in clothing. I tend to fit better in Juniors now.

You look great and happy, too! If you really want to melt the tummy you have to cut the fat from your diet. I am an otherwise "skinny" person, but tend to have a belly if I don't watch what I eat. Different people carry their fat in different places. I have always exercised, but I really saw the difference when I started…
