I work two 12-hr night shifts per week. On those days I pre-log and fill my lunch bag. When the food is all gone then I am done. That way I can eat from the bag during the 12-hr shift and not have to think about it!

From a woman's point of view... it is that aire of confidence (not cockiness) that a man has, the way he carries himself, that says to everyone else, "I don't want to fight you, but if we do I will win," that is attractive. And he has to have the build to back it up.

Get some good running shoes before you start! You can really mess up your knees before you know it! I would try walking alternating with jogging to start with. Good luck!

I love the pouches of flavored tuna (Tuna Creations from Starkist) mixed with Laughing Cow cheese on crackers. Great protien and tastes great. They are also convenient. Protein bars and whey protein (Body Fortress) are other handy sources for me.

Hi! I use a Garmin 405 watch that has GPS on it. I have the device on my bike from Garmin that measures everything with the watch... distance, heart rate, speed, elevation, how many times you pedal, etc. I love it!

I agree with this guy. I would like for my hubby to care more about his health, too, but so far not a lot has changed.

Big waste of money when I tried the peanut butter. It was so disgusting it almost made me hurl!

Keeping my germs to myself. I workout at home anyway. I used to be a faithful member of Gold's Gym. Now I wonder why. I get so much less bored doing my own thing... biking, running, Pilates, etc. Thanks for the reply.

I think A would smother me, B looks like he might miss his curfew, and C is just straight out HOT!

And learn to spell...

read more running shoe revues than movie revues.

just getting into it... "What is a rest day... do I have to take one... Is that neccesary?"

I ate chips and salsa, a taco salad, two margaritas at a Mexican restaraunt, and picked up ice cream on the way home: 2.5 cups of Blue Bunny Peanut Butter Panic! My stomach hurt so bad after all that I won't do that again! I have not eaten ice cream in a while, and I think my tummy did not like it mixin with the margs!…

fresh fruit and veggies, Chobani yogurt, Smucker's All-Natural Peanut Butter, Almond Milk, homemade hummus, low cal. salad dressings, fat free whipped topping in a can, to name a few... and my hubby's boiled peanuts that he made!

I don't think you are a horrible person. I think you're normal, and you happen to be honest enough to admit that you are human. Some of the people slamming you need to RELAX.

No:lol. No, I did not miss that post. I just prefer not to use sex as a manipulation tool. It does not work for me. It is fine for others if it works for them. It tends to make sex less fun and more of a chore. Then I get confused about why I am doing it in the first place. Am I doing it because I want to or to try and get…

Thanks for the post. This is pretty much what I am doing. I just need to continue to press on and be patient. Good sound advice.

Don't mean to sound shallow... As I said I love my husband! I am an RN, and his health is top concern for me. As far as the appearance he is a mechanic which means I have NEVER seen his hands completely clean, he doesn't get a haircut until about two months overdue, doesn't mind wearing shirts with 4 or 5 holes right in…

 Thanks, girl.
-
/wow! Seriously, my husband is a mechanic, too. Must be in the something about em.
-
Agreed, and I do love him either way. It would just be nice to be physically attracted to him.
-
Yeah, that is def. how I feel. Just can't bring myself to say it.
-
Yeah, I could see this working on him. Not that I would ever say anything like that to him, but he doesn't let me get to far away from him at the beach! lol
-
I like that!
-
This is pretty much what I am doing, and it is slowly working. He has lost about 15 pounds. I think I need to do a little bragging and carrying on to motivate him. I am not as good of a cheerleader as I could be.

Thanks, guys, for the replies. I guess it just confuses me how he can walk around with no shirt on and let it all hang out. It truely does not seem to bother him. Not trying to be mean, but I want to cover him up. I know... I am going to hell. lol
-
Totally not putting pressure on him... that is the surest way to get him headed in the other direction. He is coming around. Last night he rode bikes with me. I think it is just less of a concern for him, because he has so many other things pulling at him. Thanks for your reply.

Yeah I get that part about not caring about what a girl cares about. That is what makes you guys male. I will say that he does change his shoes, shirt, etc. when asked when we go out. My hubby is also a workaholic. That may be the main problem overall. He just doesn't fit the healthy life style in. He eats out a lot, but…
