Normally Friday is a rest day for me, before my running on Saturday. However, I've arranged to get in a mile swimming and some weight training tomorrow. So i will be able to add miles. I don't think it matters when you eat, however working out less than 2 hours before bed can make falling asleep difficult. Although I think it does vary by the person.

I agree with accountant_boi don't try to run as far as you can everyday. Mix in short runs were you focus on form and speed and then usually no more than one long run a week.
