I try to avoid restaurants that don't provide nutritional information at all costs, but hey, life happens and sometimes I crave those off the wall restaurants! Sometimes I try to piece the ingrediants together... like tacos... shell, meat, cheese. It's really hard to be accurate - Shoot, I find it hard to be accurate even…

I keep exercising because in a way I have become addicted to it. I love the way I feel when I'm done working out. I eat healthy because it feels great to have power over food when so many others let food have power over them. I love seeing my body change. I seem to enjoy life more. I love going places with my hubby more…

Sorry that you're having such a bad day! If there is one thing I have learned about myself through this process is sometimes I just need a break! Life happens and some days are harder than others. Sounds to me like you need a good healthy meal/snack - If it feels like your body is telling you that you need to eat then you…

Yes, I think it's normal. This wont be your last day of feeling blue I can tell you that. You just have to keep moving along. I have been at this for about 8 months and I still have days when I want to throw in the towel. Just take things a day at a time. Just think of where you will be 30, 60, 90 days from now. Set mini…

This is me! I definitely try to use it as a motivator, and sometimes that helps... but I can really relate to what you're saying! Thank you.

He would stop drinking pop for a few days and drop lbs... he would weigh himself every day and for whatever reason give me an update on his weight LOL... (He isn't big so I am not too concerned about his…

I agree... I am sure the junk food didn't make me feel better! I just thought the amount of food... like I said I went over by 500 calories which I try not to do! I will NEVER go back to liking junk food! Yuck! Usually if I eat greasy food I get sick which is what surprised me about last night! I love eating healthy! =) It…

Hmmm never thought of the diabetes thing... doesn't run in the family, but I suppose that doesn't mean anything. I typically do eat back my workout calories IF I am hungry... I haven't really felt deprived or anything all week... I did stop eating after like 6 PM so that may have an effect on my energy. Oh yes, I drink…

I currently take meds that may cause weight gain - I spoke with my Dr about it and now I take one pill and day and half a pill the next. So I have decreased my dosage without shocking my body too much. Maybe ask you doctor if you could do the same?

You're right 6 lbs in 4 weeks is an accomplishment! I am still working on realizing that this weight took a while to pile on so its going to take awhile to get rid of =)
