  • I've been doing 1200 since May last year and have got to goal, now its just losing a few more for my own sake! Have done the Dukan diet with it. Happy to add you, also in the UK.

  • The main thing is that you have got back on the track :) You can always go back on the attack phase for a couple of consequative days to kick start it. I sometimes do that if I've had a bad weekend! Good luck and stay hopeful.
  • Well according to the book you can have fat free fruit yogs but only 1 or 2 a day. They are only 60-70 calories so it should be fine.

  • Measure and weigh your portions! 40g of breakfast cereal seems like a half portion but its not! Similarly with pasta and rice, only cook one measured portion.
  • I have been the Dukan diet and its the first diet I've been on that I haven't felt hungry on. For me it really works as its lean protein (not high fat) and after the intial Attack stage you can have veg and salad. Quite tough but really works if you stick to it.
  • Eating more lean protein may help. I've been doing the Dukan diet and have the opposite problem of trying to make sure I do eat 1200 as I am full all the time.
  • How about a glass of smoothie before the gym and then a bowl of cereal or an egg after?
  • I'm 5'3 and aiming for 129 and a UK size 12. That's what I was at my lowest at 21-25 yrs.
  • Well done! I think its really hard when you don't have much to lose and evey 1lb seems a mountain! I'm on cruise now and really relish the P+V days. Even introduced a sneaky glass of wine occasionally to bump up my calorie intake.

  • I've lost 12 lb (5 in first week) and then about 1lb a week. I exercise a fair bit but am SO tired! Think I need a bit more variety too as getting fed up of ham and cottage cheese!
