Those challenges sound like exactly what I need! I'm so excited to find so many Derby Dames on here!! Yep, tried both of those. I don't think I could get the strap much tighter and I really soaked it to make sure it was wet! The little clip thingy was up the right way and I've done everything the Polar website told me to do.

Alternatives are against my law too. I allow myself cheese, but make sure it's the best I can afford and enjoy it in moderation. I used to be able to eat a whole 250g Brie in one sitting.
