I'll remember this!

I agree with this! There are days I'm tempted to go to McDonald's or get a bag of chips to fill in my calories but try to resist. I still allow some treats and still haven't figured out what to do on days I can't cook but am trying!

Awesome!

I don't know about diary wise but drinking water helps your body get rid of excess sodium.

Sometimes I have a problem with my calories too, I will eat a meal, a snack, then workout, then look at my diary and cuss. Every day I think that's alot more calories to eat. Well every day I don't work that is. I can't get this balance thing right, especially eating at intervals to keep my sugar and metabolism up.

Agree with the sodium. This is something I have a hard time with!

I've grilled them too. Usually I cut them up into big cubes and either steam them in the microwave or bake them.

Saw a recipe for inside out smores somewhere on the internet today. Basically you cut the marshmellow, cram in some chocolate chips and teddy grams, press the cut together and spear it in the uncut direction. I bake muffins ahead of time to take, sausages, lots of veggies with harder skins or that don't wilt easily,…

I always know what my main meals are going to be before I go camping because I have a bad habit of forgetting things so if I don't have a detailed list, well.... So you could enter it all ahead of time and get a rough estimate. I do this when I'm not sure how many calories I will be eating for a meal or need to save for a…

Vegetables, Fresh: - Yellow Squash Fresh Produce - Yellow Squash - Raw Squash, Yellow - Squash, Yellow Row all are by weight, the first two in grams and the third in ounces. I had logged by cup instead of weight.

Give me a minute to look back on my diary. I have these squash in my garden and pretty sure I logged them by weight.

I have used coffee in the past and it only works for me if it's regular, decaff while it tastes the same to me will not make me go. I always put a little milk and sugar in mine if I have to go, but I'm lactose intolerant. They are right about going to the doctor, a bowel perforation is a medical emergency and if you're…

She looks great! Hope you got to enjoy the parade!

I went to a festival yesterday and so wanted a funnel cake. Maybe we should have split one!

I'm considering giving up Facebook too! Add me, I'm kinda iffy on my forum activity but I do log every day I am not working and some days when I am working.
-
I work night shift so I always count it on the day that I woke up during. So even though it's after midnight until I go to sleep all of my calories will be counted on Monday.

True about the cereal. Also watch your tannins! I have to supplement twice a day and I take a vitamin C with each supplement. I try to buy the lowest dose vitamin C possible because it causes stomach upset for me where the iron alone never has. This is a battle I fight constantly. I also heard that you don't absorb the…

I want to join the local belly dancing class when I reach my goal weight!

I've used it twice. The first time I had a pretty good success but did not learn my lesson and continued my bad life style. The second time my success wasn't as great but I was on a smaller dose for a shorter period, I also had other health problems at the time which is why I took less. I did have mood swings, occasional…

I've heard this as well? Does anyone know if the old wives tale about using a cast iron skillet has any validity?
-
I think this is the exact same thing as what happened to me! Years and years of going in and out of this for months at a time, with binges every week or two. I remember some summers when I was a teen when I would go days where I would only eat a few bites in front of my mom at dinner so she would stop nagging!

This is from before I was working on my weight loss but I think it will still help. I have an uber sweet tooth and I discovered that if I bought something like this from a store then I wasn't near as satisfied with it (especially the taste) as I am when I make it myself. So if you make it yourself you can control what goes…

I've read that alot of people are having problems with the heart rate monitor not being positioned right. I had to adjust the strap that has the sensor to make it match where it needed to be. You can look on the inner strap and see the sensor. What I don't like is that it doesn't take your heart rate into consideration…
