  • Adventure Time! There is no show better.
  • Mmmm sushi. I'm super picky about my fish and tend to stick to tuna, swordfish, and mahi-mahi (yum, mercury). I much prefer sea invertebrates to fish (escargot, crab, octopus, lobster). I absolutely cannot stand salmon and shrimp though. They have this bizarre sweet taste that apparently no one else ever seems to notice.
  • Half a veggie sandwich and some fat free yogurt. 325 cal :)
  • I don't have a scale now that I moved, so I'll usually weigh myself if I ever go back to my parent's abode. I of course weigh myself in the buff in the morning after having done my business. Otherwise, I've weighed myself with my clothes and shoes on and off, so I know how much they weigh, so when I go to the gym and weigh…
  • It's not even compliments I get from people (though I do like being told I'm tiny), but it's the lack of certain reactions that feels much better, like the fact that I can look in a designer store at $500+ dresses and not be glared at by the people working there (also hearing "you're a size 2? Well, that's an extra small…
  • I loooove making mattar "paneer" using tofu instead of paneer. Basically, use a touch of oil and cook up some onions and garlic with your tofu until everything is all brown and smells delicious. Add some peas and some plain soy/rice/almond milk for the sauce. Add in whatever spices tickle your fancy (I like turmeric,…
  • Mmm Ethiopian food. In particular, gomen wot. I can definitely avoid eating it though...going out for Ethiopian gets kind of pricey.
  • The difference is pretty noticeable. The unsweetened almond milk is definitely an acquired taste, though it definitely cuts down on the calories by a lot. I never notice any difference in taste if I use it in a recipe or with cereal though. If you do drink it straight up, add a packet of splenda to make it sweeter without…
  • NOS = not otherwise specified. BED = binge eating disorder. I've dealt with all sorts of problems with my weight. My BED went undiagnosed for years, then when I went to college I was super anxious and lost 50 pounds in a month and a half because I refused to eat, then BED came and went. EDNOS is frustrating, but hopefully…
  • I'm doing this as part of my treatment for an ED too. What I do (besides counting calories, obviously) is keep a log of what I'm doing right before I eat to make sure I'm only eating when I'm hungry as opposed to when I'm bored or stressed. It also really helps me to time how long it takes me to eat something. Believe me,…
