That's a good one. Did you write that one yourself? [You can create your own someecards. I used to do it as a time-waster.]

Jamocha or the regular chocolate? I may need this information someday.
-
Depends. If she's a senior, take her to McDonalds. They LOVE the coffee there!

Take it easy on Don. He's 65, and he just got off his blood-pressure meds. He probably doesn't even remember posting. Cut the guy some slack.

Prescott's such a cool town. My wife and I like to go there a few times a year to shop for antiques. Loads of antique stores there!
-
And that's why I went ahead did it a second time ... although, in retrospect, that wasn't such a good idea.

We live in east Mesa now, but we'll be moving to central Phoenix as soon as we're done remodeling our "new" (built in 1942) house.

Is that code for, "has anyone lost weight by smoking pot"? Sorry, I couldn't resist.
-
Yep. If you want to find out how fasting and drinking only water affects the body, why don't you read about the 1981 Irish hunger strikes. Organ failure, blindness, and death are the most common side effects.

You're my hero.

Me too. My parents always told me that, and it helped. But unfortunately, my self-confidence has occasionally rubbed people the wrong way. I've done a lot in the last 10-12 years to soften the edges a little bit, and to be a bit more self-effacing.

Student-athlete

Yep. This pic is from a news article about him. See the tattoo on his right arm? It's the same as MFPAddict's profile pic. It's him: And here's MFPAddict's profile pic, which I also found on the Internet by doing a Google image search for LL Cool J:
-
I think he's having a little fun with us. I mean, isn't that LL in his profile pic?

My wife and I picked up some groceries for her parents today, which included a nice, freshly baked baguette. I had to restrain myself from eating it. I love French bread! Surprisingly, though, both my in-laws and wife are French, yet they don't eat it much. Lucky for me.

Wow, that sounds pretty cool. When that movie came out, I was just a kid, and it scared the living hell out of me! I couldn't sleep for three days, thinking The Tall Man was going to come out of the wall over my bed and grab me! Angus Scrimm is English, isn't he?
-
Dude, that's a book just waiting to be written. It's got it all: the '90s, Marilyn Manson, goth, DJs, vodka!
-
Okay, but that only explains why L.L. Cool J is confident!
-
Too confident, really. I remember when I was a little boy, maybe six or seven. My grandfather described me as "arrogant" even back then. I've gotten comments like that my whole life. But I'm just confident. I know what I can do. And I never, ever believe that I'm going to fail at anything. But how else can you succeed? As…

You should start a new thread on that. I'm sure it will attract a lot of attention.

You met Reggie Bannister? That's pretty awesome. I love the Phantasm series, especially the first one.
-
You know, I'm not a fan of Geraldo's, but those interviews he did with Charles Manson are legendary. He's the only person who's ever done a credible job of interviewing that whack job, and many have tried. And for that, I give him a lot of credit. Al Capone's vault ... well, that's another story.

Chelsea's shows (Chelsea Lately and After Lately) are incredibly funny. It would be fun to meet her.

Probably the two most famous people I ever met were Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, around 1995. My buddy in college was a part-time security guard at The Phoenician, a resort here in Phoenix. He called me one day and said, "Holy ****, man, Plant and Page are down by the pool. Get your *kitten* down here!" So I and my…

I've never been a "binge" eater, yet I still find this to be true. Just the act of writing it down and seeing the calories add up will make you change your mind about the next thing you're thinking about eating. I've experienced this quite a few times. Logging works. Just do it!

Speaking of The Cure, Disintegration is an insanely good makeout album. Disintegration is to my generation what Al Green's Greatest Hits was to my parents'.
-
Yes, I too admire Daniel Craig...but in a strictly non-sexual kind of way, of course.
-
But aren't women receptive to that on some level? I mean, don't you guys get an ego boost when a woman tells you how pretty you look, and stuff like that? For guys, that's hugely taboo. But for women...somehow it seems different. Maybe I'm wrong.
