That's a very interesting article. Glad I saw that!

This sounds like the right group for me to be a part of. I have about 7 pounds to reach my goal. I've dropped 17 since early July. The loss slowed in October but I know some of that was lack of sleep and even though I had some poor eating days, I think I may be cutting myself short on calories. I run, mostly on a treadmill…

I haven't tried BodyPump, but I have heard that an at home version is coming out within the next several months.

I am in that boat currently. This year I finally got my mind straight and have lost 17 of the 25 pounds I am aiming for. I have managed to up my exercise tremendously and really watch my portions and hold off on over-indulging in my cravings. But now it is Halloween and I have a 4 year old daughter. Next is Christmas. I am…

I did this program for three months and had great results. Check out http://drsteph01.blogspot.com for more details. As for calorie burn, I wore a heart rate monitor and during the cardio workout, I burned just over 100 calories including the warm-up. I did the three session plan and on most days would burn between 300-350…

I did three months of TMT and lost about 17 pounds and more importantly never got bored with the routines. You can switch things up. Do one session when you are short on time in about 12-15 minutes. Or combine several. I am a 36 year old female that had a goal of losing about 25 pounds when I started the program. TMT got…

I will send you a message, if you like. But basically Slim in Six is a DVD workout program developed by Team Beachbody. It is a six week program that you order. It is a mixture of cardio and strength training. If you google Slim in Six or Team Beachbody you will find links. I noticed that you live in Europe. I don't think…

Great! I just finished the Ten Minute Trainer program that I bought two years ago. It sat in a box until this past July. I finally got serious and have lost 17 pounds. Going to start a new program to keep things mixed up.

It's a DVD workout program.

Most importantly....Thank you for your service! It is your service that allows us here in the USA to be able to have this kind of discussion! Thank you for protecting that right! Thank you! And your last couple posts really made me smile. Those are funny comebacks.

I started this year overweight but not too much. I am a woman in the Army and for the last ten years have struggled with making sure I met the Army's weight standard. This year I decided to get serious and get the pounds off as well as improve my fitness level. At the beginning of June I switched jobs, but still in the…

I have the FT4 and love it!

I am in the Army, but work with all the services quite regularly. Even spent my one year in Iraq living and working with the Navy. This is a great place to find motivation and lots of fitness and diet help. Good luck!

Cautiously optimistic. Sure don't want to watch another second half meltdown! Gig 'em!

That is awesome! I some co-workers that hadn't seen me in a few months. They commented on my 11 pound loss it definitely felt good. Here's to losing the rest!

For the last ten years, my answer was, 'because the Army makes me'! I only ran enough to meet weight standards and pass my physical fitness test. This year I vowed to truly get fit and run faster. Over the last five months, I have discovered that I now run because it makes me feel so alive and full of energy. Two weeks ago…

Welcome! I hear you on the learning to eat part. I was an athlete in high school, but never super skinny. Not horribly overweight though so I never really worried about my weight. I remember eating terribly. Drive thrus were a regular part of my life. Then I went to college and stopped playing sports regularly. The last 15…

Very inspiring! Thanks for sharing.

Way to go! I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last year as well. With medication and a lifestyle makeover I am healthier than ever. Amazing what healthy eating and regular exercise can do. Lol

Hi Tiffany, Sorry for the delayed response. I like TMT a lot. It's funny because I bought it in 2009 after watching an infomercial. I never really started it though and it sat in its box for two years. I pulled it out in early July and vowed to stick with it. I am in my third month and am really happy with it. The ten…

Just getting back to this thread. My sponsor's name is Wade. Known him for years. Not sure why you would ask?
