Mine's open. I subscribe to the "there are no bad foods" mentality, so I eat lots of different things. Sometimes if I find recipes that I like and that work for me I post them on my feed too.

I think the person who said to avoid having the tasting menu has never done it. It's not low cal at all, and is one of the best experiences I have had at high end restaurants. It's also not cheap.

Sometimes when I am tempted with something that has super high calories, I calculate how many hours I would have to walk to walk it off. It triggers the "not worth it" impulse for me.

I made it through New Year's Eve by making a ranch dip out of fat free Green yogurt and dry ranch mix. You can also add spinach to it if you want. Then serve it with a veggie tray. A fruit tray is also good. You could also do something like a soup or chili bar where people can add what they want, then you can keep yours…

I think this is a question only you can answer, each person is different. Once you plug the numbers into your diary you will know if they fit your plan. I know that I would be hungry much of the day if that was my diet.
