TY All! :)

TY Julie! I will tell you, this site has been a great source of accountability! Try Vlogging and MFP, those two combined, really help you stay accountable, even if you are alone. Those days in a row and those marks when you've been gone for multiple days really help a lot! Keep up the great work!

I hope this works, it hasn't liked my side by side pics today :(

Well look at you!!! GET IT!! Love the before and after!!! AWESOME JOB!! Keep up the great work, I see hard working shining through!!

You know what helped me, I hate to say it & friends think I'm nuts, but looking in the mirror, naked, and taking in some deep reality helps, especially when I want to give up. You can do this! And start taking a few pics of just you, after all, if you don't, there will be no "before pictures" LOL

1) remember you can't spot reduce, to lose weight in one, you've gotta lose all over. 2) don't be scared of weights, get w/ a personal trainer (if possible) and let them know what you are trying to achieve. Sit ups, crunches, and other abdominal exercises are all great work-outs, but do the research, studies have shown…

Hey Tom, I have to go to the bathroom, you coming with?

LOL!!!

Honesty is, you can't spot reduce, you can do weights to strengthen muscles and increase tightness, but to lose in one area you've got to lose all over :( Pick the weights up targeted for your back area to firm and tone, and continue what you need to lose all over. If you do it right it will align.

I feel like I am slowing down in my weight loss--and still have so far to go. What you have to say is very encouraging! Thanks for the inspiration! And congrats on what you have accomplished. [/quote] TY & Keep pushing Cathy! We all hit those stall-out moments, and as much as they suck, its the very time we need to reflect…

You hit the nail on the head there. God is the drive in everything I do! Trust me, He salvaged me from a bitter wasteland called "self"

TY All :) Please feel free to add me, I do log in MFP daily, and some days w/ a tight work schedule and a serious need to get these work-outs in no matter what I may or may not talk, but I do try to get on and comment on my friends losses, and work-outs, and hopefully this keeps them encouraged. Would love to see new faces…

I most certainly will, feel free to add me, and I also keep a Vlog of my progress on https://www.youtube.com/user/mrsjoshica?feature=mhee I'm quite candid about loss, gain, and just my feelings. Looking forward to adding you Steph!

I so feel your pain! LOL Like I said, if you have 100+ to lose you can lost 50 and realize how much you have to go, but what I've learned to do is focus in the "now accomplishments". Although my major goal is to be 150, I celebrate every single milestone I hit as though it was the main goal, b/c if not, you can easily…

Well done!!

I sure did. I was WAY over 3. I just Finally broke out of 300's into the 2's a few weeks ago. It CAN BE DONE!

I'm going to look for you also. I felt like I was the only one.

Honestly, losing weight at a slower pace & toning are your two best plan of actions in avoiding as much loose skin as possible. This isn't a cure all, and may work better for some than it does other. Most people who have lost very, very quickly have had higher risks of more lose skin than others that tone & lose weight at…

Honestly, talk to her. Find out what SHE wants. Go shopping with her & notice what she wants but wont spend the mony on herself to get. And if she's a "hint dropper", listen well. The best gift is to get her something she wants but wouldn't buy for herself.

I do agree w/ the poster that said "losing weight that fast is really dangerous". When you first start losing weight you do tend to lose more quickly than after your routine has been set for a while. However, you want to make sure that you are not trending that high constantly & make sure you are taking in enough vitamins,…

I was gonna say I don't see it yet! 43lbs (a little more but not time to log it), and I don't see it yet! But I looked at my old pics and newer, and WOW I DO see it. Hope you can too. Hate the hair in the new pics but, wow, sometimes you just need to look! At the heaviest I've been in the last 4 years. Sometime in July,…
