I couldn't do yoga, push ups or upper body work outs for at least 4 weeks. I think I started walking around 3 weeks but I had other stuff done that slowed me down.

The healthy range for women that are 5'5 (according to weight watchers) is 120-150 but when I met with a nutritionist she said I weight no more than 137. So, I have set my goal at 135 but will be extremely happy if I can it 140.....

Since the nutritionist said I am a carb addict and not to worry about the rest until I get that under control, I only track calories and carbs:)

I never wear the chip, if possible. I race against myself.... I rode in a charity bike ride this weekend, I just knew I was last b/c this woman stayed behind be until the first stop. When I was going to leave I noticed all these people just getting to the rest stop and the lady who followed me the first 12.5 miles wanted…

It only seems low because two-thirds of America is overweight! People who say that are the same people who think having a few extra pounds is good because if you ever get sick you wouldn't want to loose too much weight! No lie, I actually had a woman say that to me...."don't want to be skinny, not good if you get sick!"
-
Cut her loose, unless you want to babysit her when she is bored. LIfe is too short!

I read in Fitness mag the other day where tuna helps....go figure! It must be the oil.

I am personally just trying to maintain my weight through the holidays. I also made sure to sign up for at least two bike tours or 5Ks through November and December. I will have to let you know how it all works out though;-)

Great job! You look fantastic, all the hard work has paid off:flowerforyou: Thanks for posting!

Wow, congrats! Great job.....

Great job! You look great! I love how your smile gets bigger with each picture:laugh:

I say Yay - it really does work and squirting snot out in the sink isn't as gross as carrying it around in your head all day. And bugging people with all that sniffing. :grumble: My kids do it too. They hate to blow their nose so I have them use the neti rinse and I don't have to listen to that non-stop sniffing all day.…

I have been lifetime for 10 years (and worked for them too) and finally kick WW to the curb in July. The plan is great and if you follow it you should lose weight. However; you have to pay attention to your body. I am nearing 40 and struggle with getting and keeping the last 12 lbs off! I went to a nutrionist who looked at…

I track it under cardio and enter what my heart rate monitor says.

The one in Cedar Creek? I live in the Austin area and have been wanting to do that race or the muddy buddy. Good luck to you! I just signed up for the Cap 10K and the Danskin Tri yesterday.....they aren't until next year and I am already scared:sick:

Riding a 25 mile bike tour on 11/12 and running a 5 miler Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day.

I have a mid priced Novara women's mt bike from REI that I put on lighter tires. I ride to work 5 miles one way, works great. Just bought a rack and truck so I don't have to carry a back pack. I ride bike paths, trails, road, etc.... Love it.

Can't answer your fat risk questions but I can, from experience, answer your lipo question. I was a pear, this time last year, and had lipo on my thighs at Christmas. I currently weight about the same as I did last year so it didn't motivate me to lose more. And my weight didn't really change pre to post surgery. BUT I can…

Ditto the rest of the posts....I've done an event like the Tough Mudder and you don't want to wear shoes in the current running cycle. I always keep a pair of old black or gray tennis shoes around just for these events. The local fire department is usually there too to hose you and your shoes down. Don't bother with socks…

I'm in...I have been trying to lose 12-15 lbs of baby weight for 5 years! I am trying increase my exercise and add more raw veggies. I've had the funk for a few days so I am trying to get back on track......
-
Awesome job! Keep up the good work.

I hate raw veggies, I mean I am 39 year old female and have JUST started eating salads. The best advice I have gotten is start small like shredded carrots, small gourmet cucumbers sliced very thin, etc.... use fat free ranch, whatever it takes to acquire a taste AND eat these types of food first when you get hungry. I…

That so rocks!

I bike to/from work at least one day a week, hoping to add two, etc.... It's around 5 miles each way and takes 25-30 minutes. I live in the Austin area so I am always a little hot when I get to work! We have a shower but I don't use it, we are causal here so I just pack light clothing, wipe down and head on to my desk.…

I eat those emerald raw almonds, 100 cal packs...low carbs. I also stock those Jello sugar free 60 calorie puddings. It's not raw carrots but it's better than a candy bar! I also like those mini bags of OR 94% FF popcorn.... You could also try those weight watcher string cheese and low fat canadian bacon....I could just…

I say toss it! I always feel good knowing I just chunked something that was tempting me.... Plus, it's just cake and you can make another one.
