Thank you everyone for your responses. I have made up my mind. I am doing it. I'm going to train for this just so my confidence can build up a bit. But no matter the outcome, at least I won't be sitting on my bum that morning saying that I wish I would have done that race... It means a lot to me all this feedback, everyone…

I'm not the most active person but I do have an active job. I work at a daycare with toddlers and preschoolers so with the kids I'm always up and moving and on my feet all day. And I walk home from work everyday because my work is about 15 minutes away from my house!

When I first got my license I did lie about my weight, I believe I was 210 and I kept losing weight and gaining it all back and the highest I remember weighing some time after that was 221 and it's been a tough road for me with weight loss, but I will be so proud the day that I reach my license weight! One day at a time! :)

When on your period body weight fluctuates so much due to the retaining water, it's crazy!! My body weight after my period will either go up a few pounds or I will have lost four pounds right after. Every time is different and it's normal.
