Just finished up day 10~~I will be moving on to Level 2! I already tried it once but the shoes I was wearing did not allow me to do a lot of the exercises because I kept sliding, so I will wear my Safe-T-Step work shoes to do the workout tomorrow and see how it goes. I have managed to be able to do some "real" push-ups but…

I set a stop watch when I begin and check the time at the end. It is about 25-28 minutes and I log it as "Circuit Training."

Tried to mix it up a little and try level 2. I liked it except that I need shoes with better grip to do those plank moves. I had to modify some of them and do regular jumping jacks or bicycle abs like in level 1 because I was sliding all over the place on my floor and mat. Well, Day 7 is finished but I will have to…

Ha ha  Thanks for the laugh! Most nights I am really wanting to yell at Jillian but I push through and just focus on doing the exercise. I admit that to do some of the jumping jacks or jump rope I have to close my eyes to get through it. And yeah, I think I'm in sync with them and find out they are ahead of me. The…

Great idea!! I started mine a week ago because I want to be trimmer come the middle of July for a special event and this will give me the opportunity to progress into Ripped in 30 Days or No More Trouble Zones before then. Also I will be able to amp up my energy levels before I go on vacation in August so I will be less…

Come on! You can do it!! Just think of what your results are going to be! Push through the wanting to slack off and get out there and do it! It will only take about 30 minutes of your time and just remember how wonderful you will feel when it is over and how much energy you will have through the rest of…

Were you happy with the results you got from doing this? I'm not really thinking I'm going to lose much weight ... might gain some because of building muscle...but REALLY looking to lose inches!

I'm going to take a look at it tonight and see if I have what it takes to move on to Level 2 on Saturday. I might start it early or switch between Levels 1 and 2 for a couple of days. Level 1 is good but feeling a need to change it up just a bit.

I did not care for the yoga mat that I got with the weights (I bought the mat and weights and got the video free). I went out and bought a set of gym mats from Wal-mart that are made to go under workout equipment. They are thicker and less painful as I do my workouts in the basement on the concrete floor.

Once you get it watch level one once before actually doing it. I'm not going to lie: the first time I tried it I thought I was going to die and I could not make it to day three. If you are greatly out of shape you are going to want to quit. That is a fact. But DON'T! I know she says there are no such things as "cheater"…

Needed a cheerleader tonight, that's for sure! I did not want to do this and at the same time I did want to do it. I made the commitment to make it through all 30 days and I'm GOING to do it! That said, I really hate her at the end of circuit one  but by the time I start circuit three I know it is almost over so I…

I am also 5'5" but I'm merely looking to be around 130 lbs, which is the middle of the healthy weight range for my height. As far as SIZE of clothes, as long as they are smaller than what I was wearing a year ago or I can get back into the clothes I wore 20 years ago when I graduated high school, then I am happy. Not…

Just finished up day five! Why is it that I want to kill Jillian at the end of circuit one but don't feel like that as I hit the start of circuit three? I'm feeling stronger everyday! Still cannot do "real" push-ups but I'm getting there! I think my problem today was working all day (in a restaurant) then walking 2 miles…

That is something I noticed, too. My boss, who I used to work for 20+ years ago knew me when I wore anything from a size 2 to a size 6. After that time I moved away for 14 years and because of marriage and stressful health situations with my inlaws I put on quite a bit of weight. I managed to lose weight and get back into…

Just finished up day four of level one! Couldn't do ALL of the push-ups like we learned as kids, but I did do TWO of them. LOL Keep on going, ladies! We can do this!!:flowerforyou: :drinker:

Almost wimped out on day three after doing a full two mile run in the heat, but I MADE myself do the workout. Almost killed her again but I pushed through and did it. I hope I can walk tomorrow! My calves are KILLING me and I am used to "running" around as I am a server (waitress) and work four days a week and also run…

Thanks for sharing! I don't do MOST of these, but there are a few that I have a hard time with just because of my schedule for work....the biggest of which is eating after 8pm. I work in a restaurant (and NO, I do not eat there or snack on foods from there...I actually behave myself, especially after learning that one roll…

I felt exactly like you did when I first started and had a hard time making it to day three! I was just beginning to really put some effort into working out and basically started from scratch thinking I was stronger than I was. I have lost half of the weight I am looking to lose and decided to give it another try. I also…

Good for you!!! Let's keep this going strong!!

Just finished day two of level one! Didn't want to kill Jill nearly as much as I did yesterday! Managed to get through all of the push-ups, too! Whew! Those are HARD!! I thought I was in better shape! Hope everyone here was able to get their workout in today! I'll catch up with all of you again tomorrow!…

I started yesterday but I'm determined to get through it this time around. Last time I tried I ended up out of town and unable to do my workouts so they got left behind. :frown: This time I want to keep pushing through and seeing how hot it is supposed to get this weekend where I live I might not be able to do my usual…

I own the Ripped in 30 and the Maximize collection, but I might go right to the No More Trouble Zones DVD and work out some of those spots that I would like to get sleeker. All of these are JM DVDs.

This is my second try at the 30DS....I think I went out of town the last time and was never motivated to restart. So, I'm just curious: are you going to do this EVERY DAY for 30 days or how do you plan to do this? My regular schedule has been work in the AM on Tuesday and Friday (waitress/server) and then after I get home…

No tattoos....only piercing is single time in each ear and even then I don't wear earrings all that often.

Congratulations!!! So happy for you!!!

Huh, five? Well, the biggest is the fact that I can wear some of the clothes I wore about 15 years ago. A huge NSV was the fact that the work pants I bought last August needed a belt within two months and now I cannot even wear with a belt because they are too big. Not to mention that I had to give up THAT belt because I…

I felt the same way about mine at first ... did you press and hold the button so it would "start" and then when finished press and hold so it would "stop"? I like to use mine to track the number of steps and distance as traditional pedometers are extremely inaccurate for me. I haven't tried using mine to track sleeping…

105 lbs--soaking, ringing wet (this was also 20 years ago!!!!)... I know I will NEVER get back to that but I would be quite content with 125-130 lbs. It is the middle of the appropriate weight for my height (says I should weight between 111-150 lbs). I would be happy with that but I am happier just to see my clothes fit…

That's cool. And I used to eat those foods but my body cannot handle those foods any more and when we go to visit them those are the choices they set before us to eat. So Subway is a better choice for us than some of the foods they try to offer us. I was just using it as an example of how eating Subway helped me to keep on…
