I second/third this. Even my teenage daughter is okay w/ it :) My husband isn't but that's mostly because he abhors anything resembling "substitution" on principal (IE NO veggie cheese, NO quinoa give him rice, NO ground turkey ANYTHING that should be beef) Truly he can be limiting and a tad annoying.

If you're truly doing any strength training then yes the 1800 and eat back exercise calories (or atleast half) Also the first time around did you have planned cheat days? You don't have to cut out all treats and alcohol....you'll go crazy and give up again! Allow X/year/month whatever.

I've done BodyPump at 2 different gyms and do grouppower (different brand same damn thing) 2X a week and I wear my FT40 my calorie burn ranges between 270-470 depending on the current set. I do give myself more calories on those days as opposed to just burn calories as I I know my metabolism goes insane.

Drastically...I don't know what my resting hr was at my heaviest (slightly over 200 lbs) but I know around 165 it was about 55 and now it's around 42 ....I can get it down to the 30s if I lay still and truly concentrate.

Weight lifting makes me into a crazy hungry craved lunatic. More protein helps....but your metabolism revs up for 24 HOURS after weight lifting as opposed to the couple of hours after cardio. Yeah I gained weight last time I was training for a 1/2...trying not to gain weight this time unless it's muscle. I'm not a major runner so I will def continue weight training while running training. This should allow me to continue to eat insane amounts (imo) of food still.

I felt I wasn't "Fat" around an 8. I felt I looked decent around a 6. I felt I looked hot around a 4. I got to a smaller 4 for a while and 2 in some cases, but I've gained a bit back so now I'm more solid 4. Working my way back.

I do all sorts of lifts and am definitely a pear. EX: When I was heavier my waist was a 14 and thighs 18. Now that I am lighter my waste is a 2 and my thighs are a 4. We aren't planning with little kids and I found it worked well for us to arrive last year on Saturday and leave on Tuesday. The reason is the park wasn't as busy on Monday and I didn't exhaust myself at the park before the 1/2 by staying out late over the weekend :) Just my opinion

We stayed at the Embassy last year (right next to the Hilton) and the shuttle was fine and easy to use - it's not like Florida the other hotels are much closer by. I'm saving our splurge hotel for the Princess in February and staying at the Embassy for Tink :) (This will be my 2nd Tink)
