Not sure which dude we're referring to (I'm a duddette.) I am going to give the other person a benefit of the doubt, but no we are not to pray only in private, just not to pray in public with the purpose in our hearts to demonstrate any pious righteousness. At the same time there is power in gathering together in prayer…

This is a great idea, I'm way too far or I would. I do also believe in the power of prayer, but that doesn't mean we aren't called to help. People who are able and close please help in any way that you can.

I find it insane that I, a Christian, can offer prayers to my Muslim step grandmother when her husband passes without debate or screaming and we can conduct ourselves with respect and class yet you guys can't manage it here. God (many peoples gods/beliefs) give us free will. We can not hold God responsible for man's…

Had to repost under my account. Hubby would be MORTIFIED if I even made it look like he was a vegetarian!!! Try to work the protein in throughout the day more, which I know you're already doing, because I come up against the same problem as you :) I try to get at least 30 g with every meal section and add more in the…

Wear what you like to wear :) There are definitely TShirt options all over the price spectrum. I see them at Target and lululemon (which has some nice light weight non clingy ones) However, I don't wear tshirts b/c I hate hate HATE my shoulders being covered while I'm sweating...maybe it's OCD or something. As I've gotten…

Never heard of one but ya'll are selling me :) :) Most days I'm making 3-5 smoothies or protein shakes between the whole family. I use my mini food processor. It doesn't fit much, makes a huge mess, and the blade is a PIA to clean (I use a dedicated toothbrush) May invest in one.

My husband comes to power (group power class) with me and is supportive however, he and I have different views on what's attractive. I told him it's easier to lose muscle than build it and if it gets to that point he can ask me to stop ASK not demand, and he knows I will definitely not want to be in a position to be…

Yeahhhh this ^^^ I live in phoenix and we have hiking year round (in the summer I go at 4:30 am for a shorter hike). I love to hike along in CA and have been to OR, WA and northern AZ. However, my longest was like 14 miles. Sorry :)

Frozen greek ciao bella is seriously yummy! And helps if you're struggling to gain enough protein in your diet.

<<< Agrees w/ suzzie. I broke my plateu by eating more, lifting more, and getting more protein :) With crossfit I know you're doing the weight/body resistance training too. I've had several platues over 2 years I just waited out, but this one was lasting longer and I "knew" eventually...it would come to upping my cal goal.…

I'm not OP but .... Dear guy saying lift weights...I DO lift weights and that makes me more hungry than cardio hehe!! I find that a protein shake immediately after workout satiates my ravenous beast long enough to make a healthy lunch or dinner. Occasionally I will work out a double class (IE Power than core or power…

I concur. Dark chocolate is a daily must for me. I have a piece or some dark covered acai berries after dinner nightly. It signals to me (with my coffee or tea) that it is time to enjoy my desert and stop eating. Perhaps you should have chocolate after lunch. Eat it slow pay attention and enjoy. Fit it in your macros and…

Honestly didn't look at the diary with all the stellar reviews of it I just read, but wanted to throw in my fav quinoa pasta instead of quinoa (which I also like) but the pasta is great in a pinch for time.

Okayyyy now that that's settled, rest. It really depends. When training for my 1/2 last fall I got splints and really took almost 2 weeks where I did just strength training that wouldn't stress my lower legs at all. I would do light walks, but I rather would get rid of it long term then have it repeatedly return. Maybe…

Although not preferable, in some professions/lifestyles protein bars can be a necessity. For example: My husband is a type 1 diabetic who travels weekly. He can't always access appropriate foods. ESP on a plane where you can't bring yogurt through security etc. He will buy greek yogurt when he lands, and he has powdered…

I am definitely a fan of the 'what works for you" philosophy, however, for 98% of people there are caloric minimums that need to be met. Or are we not arguing that? PS lol at cola I think I haven't' had soda in years it'd probably make me throw up also.

Yes. Maybe instead of 6 days a week I'll do 3-4.

I wear an HRM. Polar FT40 I put in some values in that website it was a little high for me but not seriously high maybe 75-85% of that would have been accurate. Also my husband is 6'3'' and wears Polar FT40 and for a mile of running he'd burn more like 150-180 cals or so.

We're in the same boat (except with the PETA thing lol) but yes to the gagging part. I haven't eaten meat since biology baby fetal pig dissection. That was THE end for me. Also have trouble with egg whites occasionally (hence the protein shake in the oatmeal) because sometimes I psych myself out. I'm trying very very very…

Finding substitutes helped...like quinoa pasta. This is my fams favorite: http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/rcp/RecipePage.aspx?recipeId=109311

I'm with ya hun meat is a no no for me. I have no health basis for this, I just find dead flesh icki (to which my husband usually replies..."I'll feed you a live cow if you like"...) (NVM Find diary) The other guy is right, 50 g protein is likely too low :) Don't know what your fat ratio is either but it's likely a bit…

Don't even LOOK at the bread.

Urm not to be picky or argumentative there are some things you've said I agree ... partially... and others things you've said I don't ....but this sentence makes little sense to me....... Wouldn't eating to fuel your body mean eating to keep up with your calorie output?.. Also if you got fat as you say by eating too much…

Guns are illegal in D.C. therefore no one uses them. (Sarcasm)

I think you look perfectly fine (esp b/c you're in my fav lululemon pants in your pic I think?) I have to admit being places and in my HEAD wishing they weren't showing so much skin....but I would never say that to someone ever! How rude! Plus you look great so wth?

Miur Glenn no salt added tomato sauce natural good flavor not pasty. Widely available. I believe around 10-15 mg X 2 servings per can.
