  • I've been hearing this theory for years and I've seen some people use it effectively with a weight loss plan, but I am a terrible human being when I'm hungry, not to mention I can't sleep when I'm hungry. Anyway, point is: I eat if I'm hungry. At night though, I try to keep it light. Baby carrots (one of my favourite…
  • Sounds similar to the ache I would develop in my right heel, only when running. My running buddy recommended I try buying a new pair of sneakers. I was surprised because they were only a few months old, but I did and it stopped hurting. I know I seem to put the weight more on my right side than my left and my Under Armor…
  • If I really want to have the chocolate or whatever badly enough, I'll just do it. I just make sure to split it with somebody else and only eat the recommended serving size. lol. That is usually a turn off. If I'm still willing to waste 300 calories on something as empty as 12 Doritos, then I just eat them because I must…
  • Somehow totally missed the post linking the group. My mistake!
  • I'd also like to point out that the term *kitten* and the whole bundle of sticks thing is actually a lot more morbid than people seem to realize. Since it wasn't used for just any old bundle of sticks, but the ones specifically used for burning heretics. Those who were spared for whatever reason, were to wear a stick…
  • I personally feel like if you say something that could actually imply that you're gay, saying "No homo" won't make it less so. Really, it just makes it seem more like the person is focused on the relationship factor. Though, if it helps, I frequently have male coworkers ask me to do things like grab a coffee and follow it…
  • Jealous. I have so many copies of the Hobbit. Mostly because of cover variances and stuff. I wish I had an edition older than me. The Hobbit is my favourite book. Ever.
  • I don't know. I always find an enjoyable, immature humour that sends me into quiet giggles every time someone brags about how much they've "loosed". Or how they've become 'loose'. Haha
  • All three are series I thoroughly enjoyed. About halfway through Wheel of Time I took a break to read A Song of Ice and Fire again to refresh my memory on all the happenings before I went to meet the author. (He's so awesome!). I read the first trilogy of Cassandra Clare and loved it. The City of Bones one. They're…
  • They couldn't though, because the awesomeness would explode the internet. I should know, I'm an Awesomologist.
  • Thank you all so much! I feel like I want to read all of those.
  • Like a Boss. Keep it up!
  • When I slide into one of those "Let's just split a medium pizza between the two of us and grab some beers" place, I just reflect on what I've done. The motivation returns once I've succumbed to the craving and since they aren't often, I allow it. If I keep denying myself, then I actually feel less motivated than if I'd…
  • I rarely do, but as a rule, I eat when I'm hungry even if that means sometimes I break my daily calorie goal. I'm a terrible human being when I'm hungry so it's for the best that I do. And I mean genuinely hungry, not "Oh! Chocolate!" craving. I'll also end up eating my calories on girl's night out, but I will always cheat…
  • Pegasus' for the winnnnnn!!!
  • I love Stephen King. I'm waiting for my Mom to finish up so I can read borrow her copy. I also have a kind of morbid fascination with criminals. Not an idolization, but more a curiosity about what makes them do what they do. I'll definitely have to check out the book on Gacy.
  • I love that almost as much as her Dougie video. I'm also insanely jealous of her coordination.
  • Quoting to emphasize the awesomeness of this list. Especially for mentioning Gaslight Anthem, The Fratellis and Tom Petty.
  • I agree. Mostly, this whole thread has just become an argument even though it seems to be agreed upon by everyone that she isn't fat. So we mostly agree (I didn't read through the whole thing) but somehow there's an argument? EDIT to add drool factor.
  • Very high in protein. But I hear he's like celery: you burn more calories consuming him than he contains.
  • Not everybody would bring the other half with them to a wedding. My boyfriend and I have been together for ages and weddings together happen. However, my friend Ashley got married and invited only high school friends (she and her hubby went to the same school as us). I went with one of my guy friends from the group as my…
  • I have always done my own taxes. Only takes me a half hour now with the software. First time, I did it with the physical forms and it took me just over an hour.
  • I NEVER thought I'd see the word fat in the same sentence with Kate Upton... That last picture posted doesn't seem very flattering, but anybody can have a bad picture taken. I still wouldn't call her fat. EDIT to add this GIF. I will always remember her for this.
  • I'm re-running c25k to see if I can beat my old times. There's a 10k expansion program, but really, I feel like I've learned enough to just get out running program free.
  • SUSHI! Spicy Salmon rolls especially.
  • I could be totally out of line here, but "juice" detoxing? I've heard of water and tea (sans additives), but never juice. I have a friend who did a special "tea detox" recently. That was only a one evening thing though. Like, had an early supper and drank the tea. No snacks afterward and all that until about twelve hours…
  • Cookie Monkey-Buns!
  • Everybody has already given all the great advice that I could think of to offer, so instead, I just want to cheer you on. You're already awesome (based on my expert internet opinion), so you're just working to be more awesome. You can do it! I believe in you!
  • Coronation Street. Seriously.
