  • Smoked less. Resisted the cookie on top of the microwave. Limited myself to ONE tablespoon of peanut butter. Planned out my food for the day and have been sticking to it all day so far. :)
  • Fitting into pre-pregnancy jeans is, while not necessarily impossible, not typically a realistic goal to have. Since the hips get wider during pregnancy to aid in the birthing process, they don't normally go all the way back to normal. This would make it very difficult to fit back into a pair of jeans you wore prior to…
  • Helpful, thanks. :P But as I have stated, I cannot afford to see my doctor right now, hence the post. I realize there's likely not much I can do with advice online, but figured it's better than nothing, and I'm sure many of the people who use this site are active - so probably have a good share of their own experience with…

  • Bump I'm making sure to get in plenty of vitamin A, C, and D, since according to Livestrong's website those will help with rebuilding cartilage... Besides that, and resting / icing my knee, is there anything else I can do to help it heal?

  • Well, thank you for your reply - sorry to hear about your knee! I hope mine is not that bad... I am icing it and staying off of it for now. Hopefully it will get better on it's own but I won't hold my breath.

  • Usually on my side, but I have woken up in many bizarre positions.
  • Cheeseburgers. Ice cream. Hot fudge. Whipped cream. Ribs. Root beer float. Peanut butter. Fried chicken. Sausage. Pancakes. Chocolate milk. Cappuccino. Pastrami sandwich.... I could go on for pages.
  • Strawberries White Chocolate Mousse Most chocolates (Hershey's Milk Chocolate bars are like the only kind of hard chocolate I like and it's still rare I would even eat that. But I love chocolate in most of its other forms.) Sushi
  • It's a three way tie between arms, abs, and the muscles just above a man's hips... maybe they're part of the obliques? I don't know, but I love pinching them. :3 On a woman, definitely the butt. :D
  • I use resistance bands - for almost 2 years now. I think I'd make more progress if I'd been using free weights, but idk. I do lots of compound exercises with them. Squats with bicep curls, chest flies with squats. Overhead press of course. Lower body bands for the legs mostly though. Do lunges with them under my feet while…
  • I would try squirrel... I would not hunt them though. I don't like killing things. :( I've heard squirrel + squirrel gravy is very tasty, though. My husband has had it before.

  • Get a second opinion if you don't want to be on something like that - or tell your doctor you're not comfortable with it. Most are reasonable and will work to find something you are okay with taking.

  • Thank you. :) This is what I keep trying to tell the husband creature. lol and convince him to do weights with me, that'd be even better! :)
  • lol yeah I am planning to buy a set when I get the money and say eff it to whatever his reaction may be. I know the truth, damn it! lol And he likes the way I look now, even though I'm not as squishy anymore - which tells me he doesn't really know what he finds attractive! He shows me way more physical attention now than…
  • Well, it's interesting to me, because I have shown him many of the females on this site as an example of what I want to look like - and he's response is basically he doesn't want me to become that defined. I love him, but he's not the most sensitive when it comes to me and my own aspirations with my body. The first time I…
  • I want a weight set, or at least one of those adjustable bar bells you can put up to 100lbs on it. The whole myth of lifting heavy will make you bulky is exactly why my husband won't help me pay for a weight set / bench. It pisses me off. I have had an easier time convincing him to help me get breast implants than lift…
  • I grunt whenever I'm doing something exceptionally difficult - if you're not grunting a little, you're probably not working hard enough imo! :)

  • I will look into the natural crystal stuff or Lush dusting powder. Tom's also burned my skin and made me break out - which surprised me.
  • I was going to post a similar question... I can't use normal deoderants because they make me break out in hives and my skin peels off. :( I started using this organic brand (JASON) but now it too is making me break out in hives. Does anyone know of anything that would work for someone like me? I've been just using baby…
  • Not that I know of, but really it's not a huge deal is it? As long as you know what they are, it's close enough I think.
  • 1. Do you think these infomercials/commercials are intentionally trying to make you feel bad about your looks and bodies? Obviously. They come from the premise that there's already something wrong with the way you (general you) look. Women are easy targets because they are constantly concerned with their appearances and…
  • No problem - glad to see someone so positive and motivated to get fit! Be patient and you will get results you want.
  • Macros = My Home > Goals > Change Goals > Custom No idea on how to record the times you ate and I have no idea how the mobile app works. Sorry =/
  • Start lifting weights. Do weighted squats, lunges, reverse lunges, etc. Nothing will cure a bad diet though, so if your eating isn't 100% in check, you most likely won't see much in the way of results. The most important and effective thing you can do to lose the "jiggle" or excess fat is lift weights while eating plenty…
  • I know this probably doesn't help, but it's what I had to start doing and I have an insane sweet tooth, too... I have one treat a day (sometimes two) but make sure everything else I eat is 90% healthy and make sure I stay within my calories. If I want more sweet, I do more exercise - which of course one can only do so much…
  • Almond milk - love the unsweetened vanilla on my cereal and using it for baking / smoothies. Greek yogurt - love with honey after a workout or mixed into pretty much anything. Ben & Jerry's ice cream - heard of it before MFP but never tried it until I came here - best ice cream I've ever had. :3
