Without taking them, I wouldn't have noticed how much strength training and diet changes alone (without losing more weight) changed my body. Leaning out is hard to see unless you take progress pictures.

My advice: Keep at maintenance or very slightly below, keep doing the strength training, and make sure your diet is 100% in check. Diet is key.

That would kind of prevent mothers from picking up their kids...

You can get stronger without getting bigger. I like strength training, I like getting stronger, I like having some muscle showing, especially abs and nice arms. I like having a perky butt and strong legs. I like having more stamina / endurance. Cardio is fun sometimes too, but I mostly do it for extra calories, heart…

I'm going through exactly the same thing... I feel for you, I really do. The only thing that has ever worked for me in these slumps is to get majorly pissed. Get mad. Use it as fuel to motivate you. I don't know if it will work for you or if it will even work for me this time, but I know it certainly helps me. I feel like…

I agree people shouldn't just worry about losing weight but also about improving their overall health, and that cannot truly be done just by eating less. (Maybe in some severe cases of obesity, but exercising regularly can improve a person's health so much, there's no reason not to include it.) People who only worry about…

Because it's cheap and makes a good filler as far as most food manufacturing companies are concerned.

Does Trent Reznor count as mainstream? I'd do everything to him. Edit: Also, Jim Carrey, I love him.

Get mad - you should be mad at yourself. Don't baby yourself, that's part of the problem. When I get like that, I get pissed at myself and people tell me not to be so hard on myself, but honestly, it's what drives me to keep trying and get back on the horse. I know it's not fancy or complex, but it works for me. Best…

Fermented soy is alright - no clue if it's okay for people with thyroid problems, but for those who have a healthy thyroid it should be fine...

but then you're being diagnosed based on not eating anything, which would be starving yourself (general you, not specific) so I just see it as an anorexia diagnosis. That's just me... but there are a million different names for different mental disorders nowadays, oppositional defiant disorder is one of my favorites.…

Have a very hard time not blowing my brains out.

I wouldn't say it's an ED but a mental disorder, probably associated with people who have OCD tendencies. If it really gets to the point of being unhealthy, you're really just looking at another form of anorexia, because how could trying so hard to be healthy make you unhealthy unless you're either a) not eating enough or…

Can't pick just one... so my top five: B&J's: Vanilla Caramel Fudge B&J's: Liz Lemon Graeter's: Elena's Blueberry Pie B&J's: Half Baked Edy's: Samoas Girl Scout Cookies (Omg yum, my three favorite things, coconut, caramel, and chocolate with cookies.) And I have added peanut butter to this one many times. B&J's needs to…

You don't need to change anything. Sounds like what you're doing is working. And your metabolism will stay high as long as you keep working out on a regular basis. The only thing that's going to slow it down is if you stop working out as much, and possibly aging.

Ice cream, cakes, cupcakes, pies, pastries, etc.

Preference is one thing. I know a guy who has been so specific as to say he would not date / be with a girl that weighed over 120lbs. I'm sure he's not the only one who's said it, either.

I'd be like let's make / find us some weapons and keep low... find some food, shelter, then maybe fall in love.

ZUMBAAAAAAAA! I do it on the Wii - Zumba Fitness 2 is pretty freakin' awesome. I also personally enjoy strength training with resistance bands, hiking, swimming, long walks, and of course sex. Dancing is just awesome all around though. Find the right music and get crazy in your living room like no one is watching.…

Healthy is a relative term to most people. But, based on nutritional content, MOST fast food IS extremely lacking as far as nutrients, aka, vitamins and minerals. I doubt someone could survive, or at least not well, on fast food alone, without developing some serious vitamin deficiencies.

If you have a B cup or higher, I think you should be grateful, personally.

Strawberries and kiwis. Blech.

I once found an animal claw in my Chipotle burrito. They offered me a new burrito. I have yet to return there.

Horror will never be gone or destroyed simply because bad horror movies are made. There have always been good and bad versions of each cliche monster story out there. Thankfully, there are many who have done well in making horror films - just not as many as there used to be. People are running out of ideas. Personally, I…

Nice thing about MFP is they calculate the burn into your calories for the day, so you don't have to do the math. :)
