Hi, I'm new-ish on this board, not on AIP, but have Whole30'd and seen the benefits of cleaner, grain-free eating (or at least significantly reduced). Even got dh on board. Feel free to add me, too. :smile:

Took today off (severe lack of motivation and first day I haven't done some sort of exercise "all year" [all 8 days of it]). Just finished L1D6--and while I was planning to try to go straight through...I may take a rest day on the 7th day. God rested, so can I! Thanks for the input and experience!

Teacher here, too. Was thinking of getting up extra early tomorrow, first day back to work, but it's a light schedule day for my own children (no sports or activities), so I am thinking perhaps after school... Good luck to us all!

I will join! I am planning on using Galloway's Runner & Walker training plan: http://www.jeffgalloway.com/training/half_marathon.html I am super slow, 13 to 14 minute mile slow, lol, but I eventually get there.

I found I was really sore on Day 2 and Day 3 (today for me), but I also found that once I got up and got moving & walking around that I noticed the soreness a little less. Just hang in there!

Completed L1D2 today and it was harder than yesterday, lol. I'm off this week so I have all the time in the world, but again, the real test is when I head back to work Tuesday... Glad to see I'm not the only one here who had a tough time doing the whole program last time around!

You guys inspired me, so I just got a jump start and did 30DS, Level 1, Day 1. Did it this past summer but wimped out after 15 days in the middle of Level 2. Been jogging sporadically since then, and even sporadic jogging has helped L1D1 not kick my behind as much as it did when I started it this past summer. Starting now…
