I like Fitness Blender's website. Free workout videos, lots of variety, and can be done at home. There are lots that don't require any equipment at all.

I didn't read all of the responses, so apologies if this is repeat info. I struggled for years with having/making time for breakfast, and would usually just skip it. However, I started eating my breakfast on my commute to work, and it's working for me. I just stick to things that can easily be eaten in the car, and that…

Ha. I eat rice cakes sometimes, but I kind of use them as crackers of sorts. I don't eat gluten, so rice cakes or rice crackers work for me. I might pack a couple to take to work, and then eat them with a bit of peanut butter or cheese or something as a snack. I don't eat them because I think they will make me lose weight.…

I did WW online years ago. It worked--I lost 25lbs. At that time, MFP didn't exist, and I also found paying for the service to be (somewhat) motivating to stick with it. I got busy with life and stopped doing WW online. Had a kid, gained weight, etc. When I decided to get serious about losing the excess pregnancy weight, I…

Fabulous! I never get tired of seeing before/after pics and hearing success stories. You look great!

Oh, and as for snacks: I like nuts, hummus and chips or veggies, granola bars (just read the ingredients), popcorn (again, read ingredients), ice cream...I'm sure there's more.

I eat gluten-free, and have been for 4 years now. I'd always had joint pain--especially in my hips--and it got worse after I had my first baby. After switching to gluten-free diet, I very rarely have any hip/joint pain at all. It can be overwhelming at first, but you'll settle into a new eating pattern and eventually it…

I love chips, so I eat them. I don't eat a whole big bag or anything, and I don't eat them every day. But I'm not going to go the rest of my life not eating them. I just work them into my day when I want them. None of the suggestions above would substitute for a good ol' chip, in my opinion. I think chips with hummus is a…

I wish I liked oatmeal. And Greek yogurt.

My go-to is a small handful of nuts. I usually try to avoid any snack that doesn't have some protein and/or fat, because otherwise it'll just make me even hungrier shortly after. So if I were going to have fruit or veggies, I'd combine it with something else, like carrots with dip, or celery with peanut butter, or apples…

Greek yogurt. As much as I want to like it, I just don't. And oatmeal.

I gained about 8lbs in the first trimester. I am not excited about that...but it's less than for my last pregnancy. I had some serious food aversions (like, to anything healthy LOL) for a while there, so I blame that. But I'm hoping to get back on track with eating healthy now that I'm in the second trimester and feeling a…

So I actually talked myself into working out Friday night! It felt good...but I SO wanted to curl up in bed instead haha! I also did yoga Saturday afternoon. I really want to keep it up. Vegasmari...my scan is in 3 weeks, too! Can't wait!

Hi there! I'm due in April also...April 22nd. I have sort of taken a break from MFP for the past few months, but now that I'm feeling a bit better and have more energy, I'm hoping to get back into working out and staying in shape! So here I am! I had my first baby in Jan 2010...gained 55-60lbs, and it took 2.5 years to…

I rarely have time to post these days, but just wanted to say Karen--sooooo happy for you!! Congrats!! And Congrats to you, too, Dexter. :)

Hey ladies! Well...I think I've probably only posted once or twice in this month's thread. Fall is such a busy time! So I think I did post earlier that we know some people who are in the adopiton process, and they have been matched to a birth mother who lives near us. So last month they came down here to meet with her. It…

What I have found over the course of my weight loss journey (and previous ones, too) is that those ups and downs are going to happen. My weight can fluctuate as much as 3 lbs in ONE day. So I try not to let a pound or two here and there get me down. What is much more important is the trend over time. If you stick to it,…

I like Special K protein shakes...the chocolate kind. Vanilla is too sweet for me. Haven't tried too many other kinds, though.

Hey ladies! Just a quick hello...I've been pretty MIA around here lately, but have been lurking here and there. September was a busy month, and I'm sure it'll just get busier for the rest of the year! Hope everyone's week gets off to a good start!

Congrats!! I called pretty soon after I found out, and got an appt for 10 weeks. That's the soonest my ob sees patients. If I were you, I'd call and see...even if it's early, at least you can go ahead and make an appt. Depending on how busy the clinic is, it may be good to schedule early, anyway.

I bet the difference is whether or not they contain iron. Not all prenatals do, and not all women need iron supplementation during the TTC/pregnancy process (some people get enough through diet). Personally, I don't take iron unless I am specifically instructed to do so by my physician (which I never have been) based on…

Awesome! :)

I take those, too...well, the Target store brand. They're pretty good, and I can tolerate them so much better than a lot of other ones.

Ok...so last week I did lurk some, but I did not check in officially, and I also did not exercise at all last week, and did terrible with water drinking. We found out with pretty short notice that we were going to have out of town guests staying with us over the weekend, so I was scrambling around to get things ready. I…

Hey there! I'm from Arkansas, too. :) Good luck with your weight loss! I'm sure you'll love it here.

The only way to know for sure is to have testing done by a physician. If you're going to do that, though, don't cut out gluten before getting tested, because results will not be accurate. That being said, I cut out gluten several months ago, and feel much better. I have less joint pain, and less GI issues. When I first cut…

I did not check in yesterday, and I'm at work right now, but just wanted to pop in quickly... Kim -- congratulations!! SO happy for you! Welcome to all the new ladies! I am down another 1.8lb this week! I can now wear a good amount of my pre-prego jeans, so that is exciting. As for my goals for the last week...did not…

I used to get that way when I'd try to "diet." I was actually eating too little, and also not necessarily the right kinds of things--not that I was eating "junk," but I wasn't focusing on eating things that kept me feeling satisfied in the long run. I have found that snacking between meals really helps me out. And my…

That's my advice, too. I would also strongly suggest that you reach out to a professional (counselor) to help you work through your pain & help you sort out all of your emotions. Regardless of what happens with your husband, I think it would really help you. And also remember, you have no control over your husband's…
