I second seeing a chiro. I have a slipped disc, and doctors refuse to anything other than give me pain medication, or operate (and yes, I sought a second opinion). They said I could try physical therapy, but really it's something that needs to just heal on its own. My chiro, however, provides drug free pain relief. So, in…

I would have shat my pants.

Yeah, you got ripped on hard the other night!

Yeah, I finally got fed up with trying to force myself to eat when I'm not hungry. I would notice that when I skipped breakfast and just ate how I wanted (within reason, of course), I would lose weight. Now I do the same with eating back exercise calories. 95% of the time I'm hungry enough to want to eat them, but if I…

I have been doing IF for a while. My husband was reading about Warrior, and I swore that IF was NOT for me. It took me some time to realize that I was already doing it without realizing it. I guess that means it's not nearly as bad as I thought it would be :) I do 16/8, and it works for me. I have strength trained several…

I'm pretty good at keeping in contact with people. Not every day, but if a friend is active with me, I try to be active with them! So, feel free to add.

Awesome work! That is a very noticeable difference. Keep it up!

Abs and arms, too. I hear a lot of naysayers say that us women that have had babies or have lost a lot of weight will "never" lose our pouches, but I refuse to believe that. I think I'll have to get very, VERY toned for it to happen, but that's what I should be aiming for anyways, since that's healthy (in my opinion). And,…

I second this. I have never felt better in my life, even when I was thin before. My husband and I are new people! Editing to add that yes, lunch meat is full of junk. Hormel does make some "natural" stuff that you could check out. I don't remember it being completely ideal, but certainly better than the alternatives.

Be careful if you have sensitive skin- my daughter was put on it for a skin condition when she was six and it gave her horrible burns. :frown:

I don't know if I'm brave enough to post any bikini pics yet... I had zero hope of getting rid of my kangaroo pouch because I had lost about 60 lbs. and it wasn't going anywhere. The last 20lbs. have really helped, though. I'm excited to see if the next 20 lbs. eliminates it completely, because it was REALLY bad (as in,…

It is HARD to quit, but worth it. I tried all the replacement tricks that people talk about, but unfortunately, none of them worked for me. Sparkling water with juice was disgusting to me, but maybe you'll like it. Tea doesn't do anything for me other than to help with the caffeine headaches. Two months after I quit, I…

Yo, she-b!tch.

I second what Krys_140 said, about you "breaking up" with the foods that you used to use for comfort and stress relief. Also, cutting out things like sugar and carbs is a HUGE transition for your body. We get seriously addicted to stuff like that. It's just like quitting caffeine and getting a horrible caffeine headache-…

Change your IMG to img in front and in back!

Unfortunately, it's pixely, but that's ok because I'm going to have even BETTER pics soon!

I just got received my black belt in taekwondo after being in it for 6 years, and I still don't think I should work out alone outside, especially at night. It's just not smart. If I run at night, I take my Rottweiler. If I run during the day, I stick to where I will be seen by neighbors. Men are just plain stronger than…

I usually do it by the cup, but I don't think that it's very accurate since veggies are all lumpy. I'm going to be checking back on this thread!

Your hard work has paid off- amazing transformation!

It's normal. You're doing great, just keep it up. Keep taking your measurements, too. Many times when my scale won't budge or even crawls up a pound or two, I find that I've still lost an inch off of my waist or hips.

I have gotten the "when are you due?" question so many times I can't even tell you the number. It is humiliating EVERY SINGLE TIME. Of course, it's always in public. How on earth are there so many people who have not learned basic manners? You simply do not ask a woman about her "pregnancy" unless SHE brings it up. I have…

Thank you, everyone! What a tremendous amount of support! I know the pictures are kind of pixely, but it was the best I could do.

Sorry, working on picture sizing!

Interestingly enough, blood pressure and cholesterol drop on Primal (I won't speak for all low carb diets) diets for most people. My husband's did, he was pre-diabetic and had high blood pressure, and now he has FANTASTIC levels. It's a great topic to research, check out www.marksdailyapple.com for all kinds of great…

I am doing my best to stay low carb, usually under or around 100g per day if I don't cheat :) When I cheat, I maintain my weight, if I stay around 50-100, I lose. Yes, I work out consistently doing martial arts at least 5 hours a week and then running on off days. If I stay below 50 I get cranky... someone above me…
