I only count herbal and green teas as water....some black teas have more caffeine than coffee! And I don't add anything to them :drinker:

I missed you guys soooo much this past week! My trip was kind of crazy, but my friends are now officially married and starting their new life together :) Congrats on everybody's hard work this week, I'm so excited for all of us. With the holiday season around the corner, I think I'm going to kick my routine into high(er)…

Hellooooo friends, Just wanted to say bye till Monday. Leaving for the airport in a few minutes, hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week! <3, Kim

In keeping with our theme...."The Kickin' Christmas Crew!"...hahah I know I'm not original, but I really like our name as is

A few things: 1. Log consistently. I went back through your diary for the last month and I noticed you don't log that often. It would help you (and us) to see what exactly you are consuming. 2. Check your sodium levels. I notice that when you do log your food you tend to do fast food or out of a box. Both are loaded with…

Congrats Mandie! I'm so excited to hear about your new job. Are you guys all settled in yet? Joni, great job on the bf loss once again! Celine, I'm glad you had such a good time on your getaway, Niagara Falls sounds amazing. Haven't been there yet (on my bucket list), but all the pictures my friends bring back always make…

GREAT JOB JONI!!! That's completely awesome. And Mandie, let us know how your interview went. I will weigh in tomorrow, but I just wanted to pass along my congratulations! =D

ok totally off topic, but you have TAEYANG in your signature!!!!!! :drinker: I don't have kids either, but if I ever do, I would say preferably after they finish high school, but there would definitely need to be signs of maturity and responsibility before I'd give my blessing

why don't people use the search button before posting a "new" thread?

Orlando Bloom. I don't get why everyone likes him....he just irritates me.
-
^ THIS It really irritates me when students come to school with only junk food to sustain them through the day...I mean, what were their parents thinking??
-
I usually double check with the barista AND I make sure to taste my drink before I leave...that way, if they did mess up, I can still have the correct drink in my hand as I walk out the door :D

Great job ladies! We are really going at it...and less than 2 months till CHRISTMAS! It's almost that time and I am sooo excited because the holiday season is my favorite time of the year =D. I also heard Starbucks broke out its holiday cups, so I think I'm gonna head over there tomorrow (pushing the stroller through the…

After looking at your diary, I would definitely agree with cutting out sugary/refined carbs, and also upping your protein and veggie intake. If you're going with the MFP settings, the protein default is really low and the carb one is ridiculously high, so you might want to adjust those. I know it's already been mentioned,…

I know, I just wanted to reiterate because I've seen enough posts where people skim through them and either miss or misread parts of it. I didn't mean to offend you or anything...my apologies if I did.

JEALOUS!! Yeah, just FYI for everyone else though, not every nutritionist holds an RD, so make sure you check....=D
-
^ THIS Also, I would recommend a Registered Dietitian (RD) instead of a nutritionist because they have the formal medical training and schooling to help you assess and create a plan designed specifically for you. Good luck!

AHHH so happy for you Celine, it sounds like everything has turned around for the better =D I weighed in at 181.6 this morning, down .8 lbs. Definitely the most I've lost in recent weeks. Now I just have to figure out how to keep it up =P
-
Not near a scale, been babysitting. Will hopefully weigh in tomorrow. Hope everyone is enjoying HALLOWEEN!!
-
Can I change mine to 170? I think at this point it's wayyyy more realistic :(
-
inverted triangle, but used to be an hourglass....we will see after all the weight comes off =D
-
Congrats everyone on your losses!! So I weighed in this morning and got two different numbers: 181.6 and 182.4, so I'm going to go with 182.4, down .2 from last week. I have also decided to cut out more processed foods. I was looking at my food diary and I realized there is a whole lot more processed food than usual in the…

oh goody, something to look forward to...*runs away from computer*

The majority of what I log as water is plain water. I do count tea as water, but only when I brew it myself (I don't add any sweeteners). Iced tea is logged as iced tea, etc. :D
-
182.6...seem to be averaging about .5 lb a week. maybe next week the bloat will be gone and it'll be more =D
-
Great job ladies on weigh-in this week! Joni, I'm so glad that, despite everything that has happened, you are able to see the good that has come out of your break-up. If you ever need help kicking butt, I'll be there! (Also a great excuse to use my recently acquired passport =D) No boy stories on my end, sorry =P

I peeked in your diary, and I agree with adding more water, but I would also take a look at your sodium levels. A lot of the energy/supplement bars have higher sodium than we think, and I notice you like those. MFP sets the sodium default at 2500mg, but I've read you only need 600 mg a day (more if you exercise). I…

183.2 this week, down .4 from last week. This is a whole lot slower than I thought it would be, but thanks for your encouragement and support guys, it helps when I feel like giving up :(
-
I agree with everyone, you need more fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, and also consider real, unprocessed protein (poultry, fish, tofu, etc) instead of getting the majority of it from bars. If you're strength training, you should probably kick up the amount of protein in general, because your carbs to protein ratio…
