Thanks everybody. I really appreciate it. It's such a blessing to be able to share my story. I just hope to be able to inspire others to get up and get healthy now too. I know what it feels like to think that things will never change and that you'll be overweight for the rest of your life. I know that feeling of…

No it was just something that I decided that I needed to do. I wasn't on any specific program. I felt like I was "addicted" to regular Coca-Cola. I drank 3-4 a day. I also ate a lot of bread and pastas. I felt like I need to break that carb addiction. It was really hard and took a few weeks before I got through the…

@Noneya we all have our own pace. That's one thing that I've learned in running now is that I'm slower than most but at least I'm doing it. Thanks for the encouragement and keep up the great work! @1234...thank you! Now I need to come up with a Super Hero alter-ego!

I just wanted to say thanks again to everybody for your encouragement and support. This has been an amazing journey. The great thing is that anybody can do this. It is possible to change your life.

I used Bluefin Software's Couch 2 5K and then went right into using their Bridge 2 10K app. It worked great for me. I am a slow runner and the max running time on that app is 60 minutes. That was about 5 miles for me so for my 1st 10K I had to go the extra distance but it really wasn't that hard. I am now using Bluefin's…

Thanks so much to everyone for the support and encouragement. This is what a community is all about. Encouraging and supporting each other as we struggle daily to reach our goals and dreams. I am very blessed to have people like you in my life for sure. @lisasdoinit I can't wait to read your success story here in a few…

Thank you @Atomdraco, @Tinatime, and @Evalynnambra. The first part of my journey has been pretty much about me. I wanted to get healthy for myself, for my wife and for my kids. I want to be around for a long time so I can grow old with my wife and play with my grandkids and great-grandkids someday in the future. But now my…

Thanks you guys! It's been an amazing journey so far. Nanalulu I know you can do it. Trust me! If I can do it ANYBODY can do it. It doesn't take pills, or shakes, or crazy diet plans, or surgeries, or anything else. Just focus on making small changes at first. Small changes to your diet. I switched from regular Coke to…

Thank you lae!

Thanks man. I feel great. Hard to believe that I ever let myself get into that shape in the first place but it just goes to show that it's never too late to make the changes in life that can change your life. I'm proof that anybody can do it. It just takes some dedication, determination and hard work. It's not easy but the…

Congrats on finishing the program and running your first 5K! Isn't it such an amazing process? I love the empowerment that I feel now from running. I finished the C25K about 4 weeks and ran my first 5K on July 4th. I'm on Week 5 of Bridge 2 10K now and I plan to run my first 10K on July 30th. On August 1st I'll start…
