  • I agree that if you are not close to her, don't say anything. In law situations are hard enough without her feeling like you are putting her down (which is how she will take it, no matter how you intend it). Love her the best you can, and if SHE allows the situation to come up, take full reigns!
  • I agree with the consensus here. I don't know what kinds of foods you are eating, but I would eat as much natural whole foods as you can and stay away from processed foods, soda pop, and such. I bet you can beat it with great eating and good exercise!

  • I use my Wii scale, and when I weigh in at the Dr is it always right on. It also may depend on where you are using it...are you using it on a hard surface? I agree with checking the batteries, your clothes (I try to wear a very similar outfit every time), and calibration.
  • I really like my HRM. You can find "estimates" for how many calories you've burned, but I want to know for sure. When I was going by MFP's numbers I was recording way fewer calories than I was actually burning. This throws off your eating as well if you eat back your calories.
