My goal for personal best will be to hit 45 minutes on the bike. The most I've been able to do at once so far is about 35 minutes.

I kind of fell apart the end of this week. I was sick on Thursday, and this weekend has been kind of a mini-vacation (except we didn't go anywhere, just didn't go to work!). Got the calf raises and crunches done, but only about 50 arm extensions, no push ups, and no wall sits. I like Bobbie's idea of adding them to next…

Thanks JJ for an awesome challenge! I lost 2.5 pounds and 3 inches in October. The numbers weren't quite what I'd hoped for, but I feel a lot better than I did a month ago. And I drink a lot more water now :)

I'm in! Thanks Stephanie for starting this up :) 10 things: 1. I have a scar on my right wrist, but absolutely no idea where it came from. 2. I can say the alphabet just as quickly backwards as forward. 3. I think when you have to wear a sweatshirt, that's when the weather is perfect. I live in jeans and hoodie on the…

Bumping so I can come back and reply over my lunch hour :)

JJ - Thank you for the compliment! I've finally realized that it really is "slow and steady wins the race." Everytime I've tried to lose weight before I'd want results right away and I'd just get frustrated and give up if I didn't lose 10 pounds the first month. Now I know it's a complete lifestyle change, and I'm not…

Thanks for adding me :) These challenges really help keep me motivated to get off my butt and exercise! I never did an introduction, so here you go: My name is Andrea. I live in Illinois, and I'll be 29 years old next month. Married, no kids yet...we want to start trying in the next 6-12 months, which is another major…

The bad news: I weigh exactly the same today as I did on September 1st. (I gained about 7 pounds and lost them again over the course of the month). The good news: I lost some inches! Neck: .25 Waist: 1.75 Hips: 1.25 Bust: 0 Chest: .25 Thigh: 1 Total: 4.5 inches lost

Darn it! For some reason I got the idea in my head that Sunday was the 1st. Woke up and saw the date on my phone, and my second thought (the first was "my cousin's wedding is today!") was that I never officially signed up for the challenge. So I'm officially begging to join  :flowerforyou: but I totally…

I hope I didn't sound like I was upset about my swimming line being gone - I totally wasn't! It threw me for a moment but it was late at night when I noticed so I decided I'd worry about it later...and then I didn't get any more jump roping done anyway :)
-
I'm starting to play catch up on posts now that I'm feeling a little better :) Mine too! I'd only done about a tenth of a mile (I was using the jump rope equivalent) and when I went to log it, my line was gone. The next day is when I started having all that pain, so I knew I wouldn't get anymore done anyway so I didn't…

I just wanted to let my team know that unfortunately medical issues have taken me out the last week or so, and I'm not sure my biking is going to get finished :( On Sunday the 18th, I was feeling good about it...I had about 70 miles to go, and 12 days to do it...no problem. Less than 6 miles a day, and I intended to do 10…

Jump rope is hard! I haven't done this since I was a kid, and I'm not very good at it. Only got 10 minutes in before it started raining, but I'm not sure how much more I could have done at once anyway. If it's not raining when the Bears game is over I'll head back out to try and get another 10 minutes :)

Way to go Stitch Witches and Honey Badgers! Renae - I keep putting off the jump rope, too. I think it's going to be a lot tougher than it looks so I keep talking myself out of it!

I've been entering under my name too, but haven't had our internet connected at home since Monday so I have a couple days to catch up on when we plug the router back in tonight :) Got the numbers written on a dry erase board in my kitchen so I don't forget. I've been doing about 5 miles at a time on the bike, so it's slow…

Apologizing to my teammates for my slow start - Yesterday we put up crown molding in 2 rooms and a hallway, and finished door/window trim, baseboards, and flooring in a bedroom so that we could move the exercise bike inside (it's in the garage surrounded by boxes right now). We worked for 10 hours and at the end of the…

Slow start here as well - the exercise bike won't be in the house until Saturday. But I'm going to get some walking for my individual in today! I'll be taking my measurements when I get home tonight as well (thought I had a tape measure, but if I do it's well hidden somewhere in the house!).

Yay! Ready to go!!

It made me laugh! And I haven't thought of anything else, so that just might be our team :) (unless someone is offended by it, then I'll definitely think of an alternative!)
-
Just confirming that I'm the biker with Lynn and Greg (we need to think of a team name!) and will be completing an individual Olympic (at least!) triathalon :)
-
Sounds good to me :) Becky - I'm seriously in awe of you right now! Way to go!!
-
I've been away from MFP most of the week so I'm a bit behind, just wanted to say I can be a biker or a walk/runner for any team that needs one. Our exercise bike is moving back in the house this weekend!

I'm committing to an individual triathalon...Olympic is my goal. If I join a gym and have access to a pool I might bump that up. I can be a (stationary) biker or a walk/runner for a team if need be. ETA: My first name is Andrea :)
