One was Nana and the other was Grandma...shocking, I know! I was born way after other grandkids, so the names were established before I came along!

We love that show. My 11 year old goes around saying "Hey, Jack" and "Happy, Happy, Happy".

A Christmas Story and Christmas with the Kranks.

Our tree is a hodge-podge of homemade ornaments, ornaments purchased on vacation (we try and get one everywhere we go) and family ornaments. I'm not a big garland fan, but my girls like it, so I let them put it on there. Our tree is always topped with an angel with lights. You can't see her very well in the photo, but she…

Had to bump so I can see these later.

Yes, because the DOW is not important.

When I was young, we went to a strict church and trick or treating was not allowed. My oldest daughter stopped trick or treating for candy at 11 and now trick or treats with the builders club at her school for canned goods. My youngest is 11 and we are headed out tonight. I'm not sure when we will stop, but I'm sure…

Whole wheat english muffin, one turkey sausage patty and a slice of cheese. It's quick and easy. I do like egg on mine, but I usually make it without as it is quicker and I'm usually in a hurry.

I looooooove Grimm! I love crime dramas and supernatural shows, so I was thrilled when a show came out with both!

I have no scientific proof, but I say the cracker gets the fortune. What does it mean when you get a cookie with no fortune? That's what I want to know!

Given the choice of a t-bone or a turnip, I'm gonna drip spit on the steak.

Curl up on the couch and pass this kidney stone!

I didn't realize there was a lifetime limit. Interesting!

I actually gave birth to one...

Great idea...fallen follicles for Christmas. We could use it for tinsel!

The difference between store bought and fresh is amazing. If you feed them right, the fresh eggs will have harder shells, thicker whites and much yellower (actually orange) yolks. We will never go back to store bought eggs. I did bring home a store bought egg from my Mom's house (not sure why she had it because they live…

We live in the country and have about 25 hens. We love the fresh eggs! My husband does all the dirty work as I have a fear of birds (bad experience with a mama blue jay in my youth lol). As someone said, they don't peel as well when boiled. I do make deviled eggs out of fresh eggs. If you add vinegar to the water you use…

My parents would never let us watch scary movies. Now that I'm grown up I watch them, but no fear of monsters. As a child, my fear was that my parents were dead. I would have nightmares about it and would run to their room to make sure they were alive. I guess I was the creepy child that someone posted about. I stood there…

I'm thinking maybe taking lunch a little later and having a large lunch, then some healthy snacks on the way there for dinner. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Sounds like I need to look up some healthy burrito recipes!

Realizing the problem is half the battle. I lost a good amount of weight and slipped back into old habits and have gained most of it back. I've had to go back and figure out my problem to get back on track. Best of luck...it's not easy.

I saw that on tv last night. I would think it would make you more prone to wrinkles...no thanks!

When my oldest daughter was 1.5-2 years old, she called sweets (cake, cookies, etc...) Happy Happy. If there was a cake on the table, she would reach up towards the table and say Happy Happy. It was so cute!

I might just have to let them off the hook for creativity!
