There isn't anything illegal about it. Companies care about the money they make, and can make more by selling more, and sell more by being able to produce more at a faster rate. Honestly, get them out of the house and use fruits as "treats" for the rewards if you absolutely have to. I read that one post "In Place of a Road Map" and learned not to be too torn up when I have a "cheating" day.. as long as at least 4 low calories days follow then you will be moving in the downwards direction no matter what, albeit a little bit slower than you might have originally liked.

Go to bed around 10 (or try to at least, my husband gets home late), wake up at 4:45 to go to the gym at 5:30 and work out until 7:30, then head back home to dress the boys and make the family breakfast. I try to aim for at least 7 hours but sometimes I'm nowhere close.

I really appreciate all the feedback. I will definitely keep in mind that no matter what I do I need to give it some time to truly test whether it works or not. But I was beginning to wonder if maybe I needed to eat a bit more. Perhaps I should invest in a HRM to keep things accurate. Thank you everyone.

It is about 1700 or so.. and I don't count the weight training as calories lost, so generally between 350-450 calories burned per session depending on how hard I work.
