Water is a beautiful thing... and if you're into alternate flavors try Crystal Light or Mio

WooHoo! Glad to see someone with the exact same goal as me! I'm 5'7" and going to 140 too.

Okay, arguing that you are right, a problem with the results of fad dieting like this one is that you may lose weight but it is typically in your lean muscle rather than body fat which is almost always gained back strictly in body fat and weight lost doesn't stay lost. Fad diets rarely have lasting effects.

Hopefully you don't have cheat days very often, because of course they can sabotage any healthy lifestyle. What I can say about the workouts is that it is physically impossible to truly be working yourself and not see results unless you aren't doing this correctly. The entire purpose of a workout is to raise your heart…

Serious downside? Starving yourself by only eating 500 calories a day for a month or however long? This is a seriously unhealthy fad diet. Sorry to be a downer.

You can do this!! It sounds like you need to invest in some vegetarian cookbooks soon. What I do know for sure is you need to be eating as much protein as you can in sources like tofu or nuts, and of course use your veggies! A friend of mine recently was having health problems and her doctor suggested a drastic diet change…

Cool! I bet you feel great!

What are you needing? Perhaps there is an alternative means to an end?

Taken several nutrition classes.. all of which say that there is no point to do them because there is a naturally occuring probiotic that keeps your colon clean. And some of the cleanses out there can even do away with those causing infection for a time.

Don't worry, it really is something that people just say. Bone variation from person to person is very minimal unless you're talking cromagnon. If your doctor says it's possible then it is.

Although you're right about butter being okay in small doses (but not stick butter due to trans fat, you want to find tub butter), you can't really discredit vegetable oils by saying the medical field "bought into it". It is highly unlikely that the medical field would make any wide spread health claims on a whim. Olive…

You should take a test whether you get your TOM or not.. just saying :D

Eat light today and do some research about possible calories for certain portion sizes... then stick to the game plan for the food that works for you. Be flexible.
-
Well how is your BMI? Have you gotten to the point you don't lose as much due to lower weight?
-
Either raw veggies so I can at a bunch with minimal calories or a bowl of cherries... which just taste yummy.
-
Something that surprised me is how easy it is to cook fresh veggies at home.. which can taste delicious. I love blended butternut squash, corn, and sweet potato the best. Weight Watchers have a great cookbook, and so does Hungry Girl.

I like super icy water so I pick up a water from a fast food place and just drink it as it melts.

I had a miscarriage which was devastating. I cannot fathom losing either of my boys now. What a strong person you must be.

Oh is that why? Don't put too much credence in that part of the computer program. If you are maintaining and you know it... then dont worry about what it said. If you need to tweak it then do it.

The best answer I have ever recieved for this type of thing... because no one here can really know anything about your possible starvation mode... is how does your body feel? Starvation mode will make you physically feel horrible with a lack of energy, thinning hair or being unsatisfied all the time. If you feel okay, are…

low fat cheese stick, sugar free jello or pudding, yoplait yogurt, quaker life bars, and my favorite fruits are nectarines and cherries. Also Weight Watchers has a great guacamole recipe.

Sounds like a good reason to drink water!

Boy do I have good news for you! Now first of all.. right now I'm facing weight gain from having two kids and I'm working to lose it. You should know several things. I was diagnosed with PCOS and thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I had always been heavy (at the time I weighed 285 pounds) and I was a Junior in…

I can't wait to be in your position :)

My wrists are re-appearing and my wedding ring is too big!! :D I probably ought to get that fixed though.. don't want to lose it.

I used LoseIt on the Ipod for a while and it only killed like 46-50 calories for half an hour..

You're going to have to control yourself eventually. But if you're Mom is so into buying them, maybe you could get her to get the 100 calorie packs instead?
