Congrats on the 22 lbs lost. Can you share what you've done to achieve this level of success??

My pet peeve is when I try to find out the color of the mulch I'm ordering and the rep tells me to drive out to see it. LOL
-
Sure does to me too. Time for a Dr's visit to make sure. BTW - Great job on the weight loss!

I don't know your exact situation regarding $$ so please don't take this the wrong way. Walmart has scales as low as $5 and for $15 you can get a digital one. You also may be able to find one at a thrift shop or a yard sale.

Look on the bright side. All the time saved with those new-fangled devices can be dedicated to working out at the gym. LOL
-
Happens to me all the time. Hit was seems to be a mini-plateau for a week or so and then one day I'm down 1-1.5 lbs. As long as the overall trend is down, I'm not complaining.
-
I'd add sodium to your display. Looks like some of your choices are very high in sodium which makes you retain water.

Hi Chris, Nothing wrong with losing 5 lbs a month. Losing 170 in 8 months is a huge accomplishment. As long as you're trending in the right direction, you're making progress. Continued luck to you.

Why would anyone give you a nasty look? When people notice my weight loss, I usually confirm without details of the actual amount of weight lost, and thank them for noticing. In any case, i would ignore those that give you dirty looks. Obviously they're jealous.

WHOA! What a difference. Congratulations on your success.

Thanks for all the support. It means a lot to me that I'm part of such a supportive group and I wish all of you continued success too! Ed - 293 lbs lost is freakin' amazing. Did you talk to your doctor about the possibility of dropping the Metformin. Might be worth a try next time you see the Dr. Worst case you go back on…

Congratulations on a great start!

Gun in the house saved this poor woman from a nasty fate. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/very-afraid-66-year-old-woman-shoots-and-kills-home-intruder/ Would you feel better if the guns were stored unloaded in a gun safe?

Calories Burned According to the Health Status "Calories Burned Calculator," a person weighing 120 to 149 pounds can burn approximately 165 to 205 calories after chopping wood for 30 minutes. A person weighing 150 to 179 pounds can burn up to 247 calories after chopping wood for 30 minutes. As a person's weight increases,…

Congrats! It's amazing how sensitive A1C is to weight.

2 points - why don't you discuss the problem with your supervisor. Bring along some co-workers that are also fed up. Secondly, you set yourself to fail when you packed the 3 cookies in the first place, well before the "correction officer" incident of the day. Sounds like you're trying to blame your cookie consumption on…

What answer are you expecting? You ate 10,000 calories (most likely not that much) and didn't gain any weight. So what do you want anyone to say? I'm confused. All I can say is buy a new scale.
-
You'd have to eat 17,500 calories in excess of your normal intake to gain 5 lbs. Highly doubtful for 1 day. Most likely, weight spikes from sodium intake and retained water.
-
Probably won't log Thursday but I will still be very careful of carbs/sugar intake as diabetes knows no holiday.
-
Just curious, was the person that made the comment a male or a female?
-
I too was stuck for 3 weeks or so. Hang in there. You should start trending in the right direction again soon.
-
Seriously, if I had witnessed this incident, I would have been compelled to involve myself in the conversation. The OP is a classy person for showing restraint. I would not have been so nice.
-
I would volunteer. There are a lot of people in nursing homes who will be all alone this Christmas and would love to have someone to talk to.
-
No processed sugar....or as little as possible LOL.

If you don't update, MFP will remind you to update everytime you reach 10lbs lost from last update.
