MFP always says I burned more calories than the machines at the gym. I always just use what the gym machines tell me since it asks my weight before I begin my workout. Also, on MFP, when I enter in an exercise such as weight training and it give me a calorie count, I always take away like 20 or so. I usually burn about 300…

I am 29 and looking to loose 10-20 more pounds. I have already lost 25-30 since Nov and just looking to tighten up and loose that last of the stubborn weight. People never believe me that I weight what I do either. I am 5'6 and weigh 155. I'd like to get to 140. I currently wear a size 11 in jeans and would love to be in a 7, but i guess a 9 would do too. I just want to trim up my legs and stomach and tone my arms some more. I think 126 would be too thin for someone who's 5'7

I do 3 sets of 15 lunges on the days I work my legs. So it's 15 lunges on each leg, 3 times. I don't do it with weights just yet though, as I have only been doing them for a couple of weeks. Everytime I do them though, my butt muscles are sore the next day, so I know they are working! :)

I will join you as well. I don't have any kids, but 2 crazy dogs. I will be 30 this year as well. I have already lost about 25-28 lbs before finding this website, since Nov and I am trying to lose the last 10-20 to get to where I'd like. I love this website and how easy it is to use.

I do cardio every time I go tot he gym and try to get to the gym 4-5 days a week. I also do strength training. One day it's my upper body and the next it's my lower body and abs. I agree, your body is just holding the water and once you are back up to the level where you should be, your body will pass all teh water no longer needed.

Welcome, I am from MI as well, Southeastern lower Michigan though. I just joined 5 days ago because my neighbor swears by this site religiously. Good luck! I started eating better and working out alot more in Nov and since then I have lost about 25 pounds. I'd like to lose another 10-20. :happy:
