  • After you make a serving, do you think the ice/salt will hold up well enough to freeze another serving? I think if I put two cups of almond milk in the bag it will take too long to shake. Or will I have to start from scratch with new ice and salt?
  • I loooove skinnytaste!! I made the Italian spinach meatballs! My kids even ate them! :)

  • At the risk of sounding typical, here it goes- exercise!! It truly has replaced that feeling for me!! I really identify with what you're saying. It took a long time, but now if I get through a tough work out I feel that "accomplished" feeling and it truly does give me a bit of a high. I'd say it took me 4-6 months to…

  • GREAT THREAD!!! Tonight for dinner I took a few boneless skinless chicken breasts, butterflied them, seasoned them open with garlic salt, pepper, and parsley. I spread a sundried tomato basil LCC wedge in the middle of each one and closed it up. Seasoned the outside with same spices. Baked at 375 for 40 minutes. This was a…
  • Want to try this but also want to log it correctly- how much chicken? And then how many servings total does this make? Was the 350 calories for both the chicken and the rice? Thanks!

  • Try to imagine keeping your belly botton pulled in toward your spine- similar to "sucking in" to look skinnier! LOL! :)

  • Let's trade! I'll do cleavage, and you do biceps!!! (I don't know how to make it to the quote thing like you guys do) DEAL!!!!
  • LOL! This is hilarious!! What if I am a lady who feels her biceps may be slightly more impressive than her cleavage???

  • Okay I am not in the c-section club, my girls were both delivered vaginally. But I am in the stretch mark and loose skin club (can someone PLEASE revoke my membership??????). I have lost all of my baby weight and then some, and the more I lost the worse the skin looked. Someone else said it- deflated balloon. I am coming…
  • Have you looked at skinnytaste.com? The lady who writes recipes there does a lot of Asian-inspired cuisine (her Thai options are super yummy). She has probably done some Chinese food too.
  • Several women I know (including myself) have seen their chests shrink down after adding strength training to their workouts (a lot of us were just doing cardio and very light weights and the chest didn't go anywhere). I don't know if it's scientific or anything, but that's definitly when I said goodbye to the ladies. In…
  • Sometimes as much as 5 pounds!!! Usually the scale goes up right before I start and then once I am actually on it it goes down. But ALL I want to do is eat. I am having that struggle today, actually!!! Food is consuming ALL of my thoughts today!!!
  • Thank you- that's me and my youngest daughter evelyn. :) Not ready to be out of the baby stage, but it is inevitable... Wasn't offended, just wanted to reiterate that it was only a suggestion from my personal experience. I am definitely not a trained professional, so my experience is all I have to go by. :)
  • As I mentioned in my post, I was just giving my personal suggestions. TY, though. I am doing what works for me. :)
  • I would probably try to do weights at least 3 times a week. If you do 3 days a week (what I would consider minimum), you have a couple of choices- you could do a full body workout every time (it will a little longer each workout). Or you could break it down into muscle groups. Here's an example of a schedule: Monday:…
  • My advice would be to do this in combination with your typical routine on the machine. Switch it up. Do the HIIT sometimes, do your regular setting sometimes. It's better for your endurance to mix it up like that- it is so good for you to rotate between super hard work for less time and pacing yourself for longer time…
