  • aww, bless! Firstly, I think you're gorgeous! heres a little trick! Try and focus on three things that you really like about yourself...they don't even have to be physical. When you start focusing on the negative things, then look at the positives and try and take your mind away from thinking badly about yourself.…
  • There is a private builder in my local area...the slogan below the name of the company reads "our erection is for your protection" I remember seeing it about 10 years ago and he's still around...he's must be very popular!
  • I would suggest increasing your calories and start eating most of your exercise calories back. why do I suggest this? I lost 41lbs doing this. okay, I have since gained 10lbs, but that is due to me sitting on my butt finishing my degree  Change your workout routine, your body can become "used" to a particular…
  • I'm definately a million times more happier! I really understand that stress can cause weight gain...I put on 10lbs finishing my psychology degree. However, I'm back at it now with a vengeance and feeling extremely positive...exercise really does work wonders. :flowerforyou:
  • I'll be over for a cuppa now! I'm in Blackwood!

  • People ask if I'm ill when I wear no make up! I always wear make - up unless I'm jogging otherwise that would just end up looking horrendous
  • Okay guys, this thread will now be locked. There have been numerous reports regarding offensive topic content and it also appears to have run its course. For future reference...if someone posts something which you find offensive, then do NOT post in retaliation...please just report the post and the moderators will look…
  • please guys...let's keep it civil!
  • Hi everyone, I understand that this is a very emotive topic but insulting other members is strictly prohibited. Anyone found to insult others will be issued a warning. Whether the OP was posting for advice or whether she was trying to get it all down in one place; derogatory comments will not ease the situation. If this…

  • Hehe...some great stories behind the usernames on here!. well, mine is not so original...my name is natalie! The Ms just adds a bit of interest to it! Even though I'll be a Mrs in November, I'll keep my screen name!
  • Hi everyone, A quick reminder of the forum rules: 4) Do not attack/slam/insult other users. The forums are here so that members can help support one another. • Hi there guys, Action is not taken on all reports made...if we did that there would be an awful lot of deleted threads. We look carefully through a thread and consult mike and fellow moderators before action is taken. We only edit, delete e.t.c...when forum rules have been broken, as suggested in previous posts. Just…
  • I had two teeth out last year and it is really important that you don't get blood rushing to the extraction area, therefore I was told by my dentist to avoid cardio for 72 hours to ensure no bleeding occured and that the clotting blood at the site of the extraction isn't affected. Hope you're not in any pain...I had a…
  • You look absolutely amazing and have always been my inspiration! We started this journey nearly at the same time and you've done incredibly well...so determined! Feel proud of your achievement!!! xxx
  • Hi everyone, Can I just remind everyone of the forum rules? It is all well and good offering your opinion on different diets out there however, some of the insulting language is not beneficial in getting a point across and just makes people upset and makes for uncomfortable reading. In my personal opinion, I believe that…
  • I don't agree with this post. Everybody (apart from individuals with medical issues preventing them) can run! We are however all individuals and this will affect how well we jog. For your first week, I think you have done amazingly. You're not supposed to be unable to breathe or see spots in your vision when you jog...you…
  • Hiya Kymmi, Welcome to the MFP forums! It's funny how the weight easily creeps on...but with good exercise and diet you'll soon see those pounds dissapear. • Hi there, and welcome to MFP! You can do this...yes there will be days where you fall off the wagon, but understanding what triggers these days can help you face them in the future and prevent them from occuring. This new lifestyle milarky is trial and error. I started in April of last year at nearly 195lbs and got down to…
  • HI dccordell, Welcome to MFP...looks like you have the vital stats all sorted, so good luck! It is not always beneficial to push yourself as hard as possible when it comes to cardio. There are a number of heart rate zones that you should avoid or aim for. It's a little tricky, but i'll try to explain. When jogging/running…

  • I did state that I believed individual differences play a large part in deciding on what your minimum calorie intake should be...I should have made it clearer...I don't believe that a 6ft male should be eating 1200 calories...but nobody should be eating less than this in my opinion... :flowerforyou:
