I think I'm slowly getting over my facebook addiction, I have seen so many people fall out on there! :ohwell: I always log in though each day as I'm arranging a friends hen party through it, just don't spend as much time on there now. I don't think I'd cope if I had to leave MFP!

Hi there!! I love jogging...you'll soon get hooked! Even though you may be going slower while jogging when compared to walking it is much much higher in intensity than walking. You will find that if you walked at 3mph you wouldn't even break a sweat...but jogging at this pace uses many more muscles and movements which will…

It depends on how long you have been counting calories..when I first started I felt hungry constantly. After a few weeks it settled down to the point where I would get food "hangovers" from eating too much! Give your body time to adjust...a litte tummy rumble is normal in the first week...your body needs time to get used…

Hiya, how about weaning yourself off caffeine slowly and replacing it with water? I really like Kirstie Alley too...I'm not in the UK so we don't have the coverage but for anyone to say something like that to gain points is awful! It's the same in Britain, we have one judge on "Dancing on Ice" who really has overstepped the mark several times in the last competition...he wound people up so much that a…

Oooh, new baby...congrats! I would start off with a low chunky heel that you wore before the pregnancy, just so you know they are usually comfy. Wear them for a few minutes at a time around the house and your feet will start to get used to them. I've been trying to wear my wedding shoes in for weeks now with little…

Oh yes, I absolutely agree! A night of dancing in my killer heels and my thighs and calves feel like they've done a 10mile run!! I would definately promote this...not if you have vinyl on the bathroom floor though (heels will pop straight though it) and make sure you do a health and safety check before hand!

I suggest that people step away from this thread and gather your thoughts together and calm down. This was a brilliant post to start with and could be really helpful to a lot of people. However, please don't make things personal...you're risking a very informative thread being deleted because of the personal remarks. Step…

I lowered mine by 5lbs although I'm going to see how I feel at 140lbs and re-evaluate. As I'm getting closer to goal I have decreased the amount of weight I want to lose each week to 0.5lbs. Not sure how it's working at the mo, so may reduce my intake back to 1200 soon as I'm currently set at just over 1300 cals.…

Fantastic post and glad it has helped so many! I never have never gone under 1200 cals even after exercise as it usually bumps up my appetite! I think though each individual is different. As long as you are fueling your body correctly then you're okay. The main deal is to listen to your body... Here is a link to the sticky…
