Oh and I weigh on fridays!
-
I’m in! Challenge starting weight: 191.6 April fools goal weight: 150

Avocado chicken salad! Shredded chicken, avocado, diced tomato and shredded lettuce. Mix all of that along with a little garlic powder, salt, pepper and lime. Wrap it all up in a whole wheat tortilla! You can even throw in cut up boiled egg but I’m not a boiled egg fan.

Boiled shrimp is good cold. Make it in a wrap with whole wheat tortilla, tomato, spinach leaves and a drizzle of ranch. All should stay perfectly fine in a cooler with ice packs for lunchtime. Or just eat it by itself with hummus and veggies on the side.

^^^^^this^^^^ and it doesn’t take much so it won’t be that many added calories. There is a turkey meatball creamy tomatoey soup I found online that is low calorie that I will be making tomorrow for meal prep and it calls for 3 wedges of laughing cow lite creamy Swiss cheese. That could work too.

I spray my metal muffin pan and put my hand in a plastic sandwich baggie to spread the oil I sprayed over every inch of those holes so the egg won’t stick. I’m not sure how long they stay in the fridge but they freeze very well. I put mine straight in the freezer (after they have cooled of course) and heat two of them up…

I like to keep ready made bacon handy to it n them too but they require a microwave :(

Make some shrimp wraps! Boil some shrimp in some water with spices you like and bring with you in a Tupperware along with whole wheat tortillas, spinach leaves, tomato slices, a little sprinkle cheese and a tiny bit of ranch. Shrimp is so good cold. Especially done up in a wrap!

This is my go to breakfast! I like mushrooms, tomatoes and green bell peppers in mine and top them off with a tiny pinch of cheese. I make 12 at a time and that’s breakfast for 6 days! They freeze very well. I eat some fresh fruit along with it!

I use paper towel or plastic sandwich bags. Both work great!

Thanks for the replies. All good info. I don’t plan on working myself to the bone. The beginner program I found on body building.com probably takes about 30-40 minutes to complete. I haven’t started it yet. I’ve only been walking at a fast pace either on the treadmill or up and down the street. When I do walk, I usually…

You look fantastic!

Nothing but respect for what you have accomplished. Don’t be embarrassed by these photos either, you should be so proud. Congratulations!

Had a really bad cheat day yesterday. I have two NSV’s. 1) I didn’t wallow in self pity yesterday evening like I would’ve done in the past. I enjoyed my meals and told myself I will just get back on track tomorrow. My husband even noticed I didn’t get depressed about it. 2) I am back on track today! It was supposed to rain…

@brendonwhite84 thanks for the info! I have noticed my hunger increases on the days I do cardio so I usually eat back some of my exercise calories. @lorrpb that is so amazing! Truly and inspiration. Now I’m more certain I should do both from the beginning. Also I’m not trying to necessarily get back to my dancers body…

Great! Thanks ladies. I felt like it was because I need to lose so much weight but then I read more and start second guessing things. I just don’t want to be skinny fat. I want to have strength and definition. I danced ballet for 16 years and miss that toned physique.

This is what I needed to see. I only have about 55 pounds to lose and sometimes I cry it’s so hard, but look at you. What you did was so amazing and you did it the right way. I also am losing at a 1.5 lb/week rate and I keep telling myself that it will come with time, just stay consistent. Truly inspirational!!!

I actually am trying to add strength in as well. I found 3 different all muscle group workout routines for beginners on bodybuilding.com. They said you can repeat just one routine a few times a week or rotate all 3. It doesn’t matter because all 3 routines are total body workouts. I feel comfortable with all of the…

Mine got the better of me last night. I’ve been back on mfp for two weeks now and started back exercising this week. I have been eating my calories plus some of the exercise calories back until I can get used to everything (I usually don’t like eating back my exercise cals). I have been eating some of my cravings but…

Good morning! It’s a new day so let’s go after it with a positive “I can do this” approach!! I had a bad moment last night but I’m not going to let it get me down. I’m getting back on track this morning.

Add me! I need conversation to take my mind off of all these cravings!! Struggle is real ladies! 5’7” I’m 34 (35 in a few weeks) CW: 193.2 GW: 140

Breakfast: Coffee, oatmeal protein pancakes with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup Lunch: Chicken, red potatoes and green beans Dinner: Chicken and sausage gumbo, potato salad and one piece of garlic bread Snack: Haven’t decided yet. Haven’t been hungry for one yet, but will most likely be a half an apple with a cheese stick.

I stepped foot into a gym today for the first time in almost two years! This is the start of me getting healthy along with eating better, which I’ve been doing for over a week now. Had a nice workout!

Today I’m not having a great day. I have a sick toddler and it’s day one of my TOM. Not only are my cramps unbelievable today, but my 2 year old woke up with a fever saying her mouth hurt. I took her to urgent care because I didn’t want to wait until tomorrow for the doctors office. Luckily I did because she has strep…

I needed this today. I get discouraged really easily when I don’t see results. You look amazing!! I’m 5”7’ as well. I’m currently at 193.2 but you look way better than I do. Get it girl!!

I drink my one cup of coffee each morning to eliminate caffeine headaches and because I LOVE coffee. I just put my dark roast kcup in my keurig and I put one teaspoon of sugar and two tablespoons of coffeemate Italian sweet cream creamer. I’ve been drinking it this way for years and have never gotten tired of the taste.…

To stick with my meal plans this week for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Sometimes I just don’t feel like cooking, but no excuses this week. I’m going to cook all my meals I planned for and not be lazy about cooking. When I don’t feel like cooking, it results to fast food. I’m trying to avoid that.

I’m grateful for: - My husband who works tirelessly so I can stay home with the kids. He also makes me feel beautiful everyday, even days where I’m still in my pj’s and hair is a mess with no makeup! - My two kids. They are both free spirits with big hearts. Not a day goes by that they don’t make me crack up when they are…

Maybe slowly break free from it. If you are currently drinking several cans a day, maybe reduce to one can a day for the first week. Then the 2nd week have one every other day. Then the 3rd week maybe just one on the weekend as a treat. To keep yourself from over drinking your limit you set, only put that one can in the…

I feel like this is “the dress” of meals!! Blue and black or white and gold?!?? One bite of Mac and cheese or several?!?? All joking aside, I say around 800 calories. However like others also stated, if you are ok with how your weight is managing by eating this so often, then it must be within your guidelines. Also, if you…
